I just finished Dr.Stanley's House 2, and I can honestly recommend you this game - it's really great, and it's free :)

Also I enjoyed Amerzone (but I love this game since 1999 :) ), and Nick Chase: A Detective Story (even if this is just a HOG :p).

I am really liking Dr Stanley's House too. Controls are simple and solutions are logical and not overly hard. Bit stuck at the moment but I will persevere

Okay, I guess I'm going to have to give Dr. Stanley's House 2 a shot again. I must have missed something simple, because I got stuck early on and just moved on to something else. I haven't played Amerzone yet, but I have it and am looking forward to giving it a try. Nick Chase was good, but there's a bug in one of the puzzles towards the end that prevents you from finishing the game if you don't do something quite right, and guess what happened to me :(

I found doing the first part, first, helped as the story followed on and the first part is shorter and simpler than part 2

Shadow Doll is now on sale for 59p. At this price it is a must buy

As it turns out I did something pretty stupid the first time around. When I first went into the hospital I clicked on the closest available door, which was the womens' restroom. Unfortunately, if you do that then the desk nurse thinks you're a pervert and won't talk to you. That pretty much ruined the game for me the first time around. Once I started over I was fine and have been enjoying it so far (though I think they could have had a few less ingredients in the cabinet in the doctor's office).

Grabbed my copy last night. Will probably give it a whirl after I'm done with Dr. Stanley.

I did the same(I am a girl after all!) and now I am stuck. I wonder if this is the reason

Then who's going to help me populate my list :) Actually, I should be able to hold off for a while, seeing as I still have Dr. Stanley's House 2, LaVille, Shadow Doll and Amerzone to get through...

There does seem to have been a lot of good titles just lately. I seem to have games to last me until next year but still I keep buying. Amerzone will be my next one after I finish Dr Stanley's House. Thanks for the tip on that one. I just hope I don't get stuck at the same place

Escape from LaVille is broken after the new update. You can't even turn it on... Lame :p

Shadow Doll is pretty good, but you can find much better games.

Pepper: unfortunately Amerzone is pretty expensive and episodes are really short (30 min max). But this is still a great game.

Just a quick tip - Amerzone is currently on sale for 99 cents (or equivalent), so even if you aren't ready to play it yet, you might want to grab a copy. I'm not sure what the final price will be, but since it started at 4.99 there's a chance it could go up that high again.

Its a pity that LaVille is not working after the update because it is really a good game but is now getting bad reviews.

I have bought all the Amerzone games as they were on sale. Are they anything like Secret of the Lost Cavern because I really enjoyed that one (except all the bugs)? Its a pity they are all separate and not just one big story but then I suppose the app would be huge.

Will keep my eyes peeled for any new ones and any that go on sale.

Very glad you started this thread, just hope it keeps going

Amerzone is much better than Secret of the Lost Cavern. If you like great journeys, old documents, travel diaries etc. you will love this game.

I like getting immersed in a game and enjoy the journey. Glad I picked them up now
