Just walked in the door from work and am about to play. How do you know that you have all of the items? I have
a sword, flashlight but no battery, a tile, crowbar, bottle of water, cup, step ladder and found 2 different numbers. I couldn't get the shirt down. Am I far behind?

Not doing bad. Finished it now but was another one where after you have collected everything there is still loads to do. Absolutely stuck on The Locked Up Girl. Have only got 4 items and haven't got a clue. Think that one will definitely be a joint effort

    I
found the batteries for the flashlight and froze the water in the cup to fix the clock. No clue how to open safe or where the other tiles are.

I missed this one. Don't know if it's me or Appshopper that's at fault. What sort of game do you think it is?

That's weird. The pictures in Appshopper are different than in the Uk App Store so it gives me a better clue what sort of game. It gives you choices as you go on

Yeah, it looks like a fancy "choose your own adventure" style game.

Have you tried any of the Gamebook Adventure games?

Yep. I've played 1, 2, a little bit of parts 3 and 5, and I actually have all of them. I liked 2 a bit better than one, but haven't played the rest of them enough to really comment. From what I have played of 3, though, it seems pretty interesting. I will say that I really like the format, and while the Fighting Fantasy books aren't bad, overall the Gamebook Adventure series is better.

I'm sure that the new one out is on sale so I may give it a go just to see what they are like

Wow, they've never released an adventure and then dropped it to 99 cents right away, so I'd definitely take advantage and get the latest one.

That is exactly what people have said. Most fans of the genre bought it straight away and then a week later it dropped in price. Downloading now. You've convinced me

Yeah, the early adopters might feel an initial sting, but this is one instance where I don't think they really got ripped off. It's probably still worth the price they paid for it.

Just seen Nancy Drew:Shadow Ranch. Loved her books when I was younger. There's a lite version so I think I'm going to give this a go as well

The Labyrinth Phase 1 looks interesting too

Is that Phase 1 or Site 1? If you meant The LAByrinth Site 1, I downloaded that a while back but (surprise, surprise) haven't had a chance to play it yet. Can't really decide if it's so much an adventure game or a 3D maze escape style game.

Phase 1. It's by Studio Index Co ltd. Another one for my list. Just started up the Gamebook app and had to turn it off. Too many spiders (should've know by its title). Will have to give it a go when it's light and not just before bed. Don't want to give myself nightmares
