Yeah, sadly the latest bored.com games haven't been too great. I downloaded the Death Lab, which looked promising, but was too hard to tell what I was looking at and which areas were interactive, so I gave up fairly quickly. The Halloween game was way too easy, even after the update. I beat it in about 3 minutes -- all the items were too easy to find and too easy to use. No challenge whatsoever. With Mummy Escape, I think I hit a bug because I placed all the items in the right place and nothing happened. Deleted it to make space, but might go back some other time. One of my favorite bored.com games is the Spaceship, but I think it's because of the music more than anything else.
I got it finally but I had already opened the trap door by accident from pressing on the buttons. So basically I'm still stuck.

Ahhhh I came back to find your clue after about an hour of tapping and finding the candle. I was doing everything to light the candle with the lighter but it won't work. I have to take a break now lol thanks for hints. One last hint to finish and I owe you
Teagan, have you played IDAC's Snow White? It's not free anymore, but I found that one to be one of their more straightforward games.
Sorry lol. I think with IDAC games you have to do everything in order or something won't work farther down the line. Have you opened the safe and dried the spot?
Yes, I did both of those things. I noticed certain things won't work until you find an item. For example, I typed in "dog" several times to open the wardrobe but it didn't work until I found the 2nd piece of paper.
can't think why it wont light then. Candle on holder double click to get picture up, then highlight lighter and click on picture should work. Try candle in hole to see if it works??
It seems IDAC is trying to prevent people from just reading a walkthrough and finishing their games in five minutes. But they've made it too linear, to the point of creating unnecessary frustration. I think they could learn a thing or two from games like Antrim Escape.
The hole worked. I wonder if playing on the iPad makes a difference? Takes the fun out of the game when I know I am doing the correct thing I'm deleting this game thanks so much for the help. Any new games out today?
I have a quick question. If you buy a $25 itunes gift voucher, is it $25 or $25 plus tax? Reason being, after the prices changed in the UK store, the US app store works out a lot cheaper. I am coming to the US next year so want to know if it worth buying some $ vouchers
