I'm sure (if I remember correctly) that it was a very logical game and everything followed on but, yes you're right, it was a case of going here there and everywhere. I have the patience of a saint. I have to, I'm a mother to a 13 yo boy
Yeah, I don't mind having to jump back and forth usually. Actually, I like it, as long as jumping around is fluid. It's those darn loading times that are killing it for me
Whether or not jumping around in a game is tolerable really depends on why you have to do it. There are some games where it is perfectly clear that you have to travel between a ton of screens simply because the designer couldn't come up with enough game play to actually fill those screens. These are the games where there are 3 or more empty screens between each useful one. That tends to annoy me, regardless of load times. On the other hand, games like the gem room escape games have you jumping around a lot, but there's always something to do in each of the sections of the room you jump to. It's just a matter of figuring out which order to do things in. That's perfectly acceptable, and actually makes things a bit more interesting than always having the solution to a puzzle in the same spot as the puzzle.
Are you running ios5 because I have noticed that when I type it is extremely laggy. Maybe this is affecting games as well.
Nope, I refused to download it when it told me it would restore my phone. And I read that a lot of people lost their data because of it. I'm waiting for the next update, in the hope that it fixes that problem. I have too many games on my phone to risk losing all the save data.
I think the problem was that it took soooo long to download and install and it didn't seem to let you know when it was reinstalling everything. I didn't lose anything but I did leave it on for a very long time so it's possible that people disconnected before it had finished. Love that I don't have to sync with cables hate the lag but fingers crossed they will sort it soon
I have been able to use the cloud for apps for ages, way before the release of IOS 5 but now I have it for iTunes as well. With a shared iTunes library between 3 devices it was a real faff having to tick/untick songs that we all did/didnt want but now its easy to download what we want
Nope, but I will be now! Saw that when I was flipping through the new games at one point on AppShopper, but between not getting what the icon was supposed to be and the fact that the description was in Spanish, I passed without even checking to see what kind of game it was. It looks interesting, and hopefully you'll have better luck than the one reviewer that couldn't get past the intro movie.
Yay for free games! Will download Atmosfear once I make enough room on my phone (yeah, I have too many games). But why is the description in Spanish if the game is in English?
Btw, thought I should mention Ellie - Help me out...please. In case you haven't heard of it. Short but awesome. I may have to delete it to make room
You must. I am dizzy going round and round. Good job I have the curtains closed. Not a game for playing on the bus or in public. Elli had a good but disturbing ending
Sorry for the double-post. For some reason it wouldn't let me edit. But wow this is different. You're right, you need to rather stand or use a swivel chair. Kinda wish I had a swill chair now so I didn't have to stand forthe whole thing. Just started playing. Have you gotten far?
AHHHHH I just ran into a bug in Antrim 3! If it doesnt fix itself when I restart the game, I'm going to be pizzed off lol
