How did you breeze through these two games? I'm finding them incredibly frustrating. Any hints (especially for Strange House -- like what do do with the beakers and the hose?)?
They seemed to be very logical compared with previous games. It tells you above the scales next to the beakers how much you need. Then it's a case of using the two beakers to make that. The hose is used right at the end but if you are in the bathroom then you will know where it goes eventually
I've been playing with the beakers forever. All I seem to be able to do is fill the 5dl beaker, pour it into the 3dl, pour it back into the 5, fill both, or empty either. I try pouring some onto the 4dl scales from either beaker, but nothing happens. I would think id need to pour the leftover 2dl in the 5 onto the scale twice, but i cant seem to pour anything onto it. What am I missing here?
I just started strange house. If I find out I will let u know Ok I played for a little, are you referring to the tiles? I am having the same issue w the hose. I can't get it to connect to empty 2 dl Pepper don't hold back I also can't get the other clock hand but assume I need to do something else first lol
Spoiler Fill the 5L and pour into 3L. Pour away the 3L. Then pour the remaining 2L that is left in the 5L into the 3L beaker. Then fill up the 5L again and pour it into the 3L beaker filling it up. You then have 4L left in the 5L beaker. Sorted
Sigh, that's what I've been trying to do, but it doesn't let me. Guess I'll keep trying, but it's incredibly frustrating. Edit: Nevermind, finally got it. I was trying to pour in sections. Thanks for the help! Hopefully now I can get through the rest of the game on my own.
Won't work w me. I understand the logic but once I empty the 3L, I'm unable to pour the remaining 5L into the 3L beaker. It automatically fills up the 5L w water.
Yeah, it took me many tries because of that, as well. The controls are not too great. Just do it slowly and carefully, bc it's very easy to accidentally fill or empty a beaker unintentionally.
It's prob due to playing on the iPad w it blown up 2x. The controls are horrendous! I finally got it but don't see any place for the hose silly.
This game is making me feel really stupid. Spoiler I'm missing he eyeball from the snake, 2 monkeys and the second clock hand. I thought the animal statues and the marbles would be the clue to the second telephone code for the clock arm, but it's not working. And I can't find anything that could work with the code from the book. Small clue anyone?
Spoiler Eye from the snake. Look just in front on the table and it tells you which order the snake lion and eagle need to be put in. Tap just above them to pick them up and then tap to place them where you want
Spoiler Ok, this is why this game is driving me so crazy. After tapping the animals a few dozen times, I came to the conclusion that they don't actually move, and the clue was for the marbles. And even with your tip, I STILL can't figure out how to move them -- I can only zoom in on them. Argh!
I have... many times. Every inch of it. I've seen the engraving, and still, I can't pick up any of the animals. Oh well, I'll keep at it. Thanks for the help! Edit: Ok, I got it. Had to zoom in on every bit again and then it worked, even though I had zoomed in on them all before :/. Kind of annoying, but it finally worked. Thanks!
I'm right there w you. I found two statues and both eyes. However, I have a hose I don't know where to use, nor can I get the 2nd hand. The hand I have won't stick on the clock. I didn't find a correlation btwn the marbles and the 3 colored statues. Pepper help plse
Ok, I need to be done with this thing before it drives me mad. I've combed over every inch of the place and can't find anything that could be used with the code from the book. Any hints?
