Hector ep 2 is now on sale. Haven't played the first one yet (another one on my list to play) so is it worth downloading it?

Guys, just to clarify: when Microids uses the word "hints", they don't mean some sort of text or walkthrough or anything describing how to solve the puzzles. All they mean are the icons that tell you which direction to move in or what to interact with. I just loaded up Resurrection part 1, and by their definition the game does have hints. Sorry to disappoint :)

Talking of Microids - They have just released another 3 parter - Jules Verne's Journey to the centre of the moon - another long title

Hector Ep1 was good, but if part 2 is going to sit in a queue just like 1 is right now for you, I'd say wait and see if they ever drop it to 99 cents.

I usually like buying all games in a series before I start them so it flows and if I like it then it is not a long wait until I buy the next installment. Will have to have a go at ep 1 tonight to see if it is any good

I haven't played this one on any system yet, but if it's anything like the two Mysterious Island games based off of Jules Vernes' works, then it is probably pretty good. Return To Mysterious Island has probably been one of my favorite mobile ports so far out of any of the Microids games (disclaimer: I mostly played the PocketPC version of this port, not the iPhone one).

Is this a brand new game then and not just a port?

    Great!!! Off to download!

Just downloaded pt 1. Waiting to get the other parts bc I noticed microids are the dev. Did they do the original Jules Verne ? I'll see how part 1 goes and let you all know:)

I don't have time to look it up right now, but I'm pretty sure this is just a port as well.

Update: Just got an email from DotEmu with a list of PC adventure games that are on sale this weekend, one of which is Journey To The Moon, so yep, it is a port.

Say what you will, I know I'm right ;)

Just bagged a promo code for Demons Land. Go to Facebook and like their web page. Codes are put up every so often

So how exactly did you find their Facebook page? I haven't had any luck so far.

Found it, thanks. Naturally all five codes were gone and only one person commented - just like around these forums :)

That was me. Nothing more annoying than inputting every code to find they have been used. They usually put the codes up about 9 pm uk time and then about an hour later

I figured it was probably you ;) I wouldn't mind getting one, but I'm not going to work too hard for it. I'm sure it will eventually hit the 99 cent mark, at which point I'll probably buy it even though I know it's not that good. I'm funny that way sometimes...

Finished pt 1 of journey to the moon and am shocked by how short it was!!! Game would be great if it was longer. The graphics are terrific. It's as long as normal lite versions. :(. I'll wait for them to go on sale.

As for Demons....I wasted $2.99! The devs must be realizing by now that it is a flop. I guarantee it goes free VERY soon!

I can't believe how short so many of these games are, and that people actually paid $30 - $40 bucks for them when they were first released as PC games. At least we can rest assured that if Journey To The Moon holds to the rest of the Microids games, it should be on sale in a couple of weeks.
