List Of Adventure Games (Part 2)

Discussion in 'General Game Discussion and Questions' started by PointOfLight, May 5, 2011.

  1. Sorry I missed this. I was referring to Her Story that hijacked my mind for a week or two.

Alter Vu I'm still making my way through, but it's pretty cool so far. :)

If anyone would like a promocode for Forever Lost: Episode 3 please PM us, we have some left :)

I may not respond straight away as I'm very tired right now so can't guarantee I'll still be awake when the PM comes in.

You should follow the Galactic Keep thread. The first post on that game was in 2009! If it weren't for the fact that I've played a build that's a potential indicator of imminent release I'd say they should just tack the word "Forever" onto the title and be done with it

I didn't post it because the game really doesn't fall under the "adventure game" category, but here you go: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=17697 It's a great game, by the way.

A couple of years ago I mentioned a game called Davey's Mystery. I remember playing it, though I don't remember much about it. Apparently I liked it, though, because in my post I mentioned that I highly recommend it. Anyway, the sequel came out a couple of days ago. Here's the link: Davey's Mystery 2. Catchy name, huh?

Funny - I actually played this back then solely on the basis of your recommendation.

For me it was very simple point-and-click 101 type stuff. Not particularly difficult and no real story or intrigue to get in the way of the (simple/cliched) puzzles.

Despite my criticism, it was a guilty pleasure and I played it to completion. Sometimes a game provides satisfaction in curious ways.

Yeah, sometimes you need the simple but satisfying. Helps balance out the intense but incredible craziness of games like Forever Lost :)

If any of you don't own it yet, get Secret Files Tunguska while it's on sale for 99 cents. Even if you miss the sale you should get it. I don't know how much time I've put into the game so far but I'm still working on it every now and again. There's definitely a lot of game play, the story is intriguing, and best of all for some of you there are no hidden object games! I don't believe there have even been any mini-games. This is straight up adventure Sierra Online style, and it's worth every penny regardless of what price you end up paying.

  15. Yeah, I picked it up yesterday, but haven't the slightest clue when I would have the time to play it.

Yeah, you'll definitely need some time for this one. Space as well - I think it lands at about 2.3 GB installed. I love the game, but I want to get it finished because I need that space back :)

  17. It's amazing how fast my 64Gb iPad gets filled up! Although granted, I do take a ton of photos for my walkthroughs...
