I have it on my to-play list after I finish a few other games I've already started and will definitely make use of your walkthrough
I downloaded that game the other day, and although quite enjoyable, it was painfully short. I seem to recall it being less than a half hour long. I cannot complain, since it was free, and it shows promise if the developer can come up with a longer game.
Nice little game. I wouldn't mind seeing more from this developer. Also, here's my walkthrough: http://www.appunwrapper.com/2015/05/20/the-forgotten-treasure-walkthrough/
Not sure if anyone here is playing Til Morning's Light, but I'm working on a walkthrough. http://www.appunwrapper.com/2015/05/20/til-mornings-light-walkthrough-guide/
I'd love to, but I don't have the space or time right now (or the cash, really, which puts me at the trifecta of reasons not to be playing!)
Just finished 9 Clues 2: The Ward HD this morning. Excellent new addition to the G5 lineup. While it's certainly not the focus there are some hidden object scenes, so I know that will already turn some of you off, but the story is cool, the game uses a surprising number of cut scenes to move things along instead of just forcing you to read journals and such, and there are actually a couple of plot twists which is really unusual for hidden object style adventure games. Some of the mini-games are kind of annoying, but they are all passable without skipping. Also, if you really don't feel like playing the hidden object scenes you can play mahjong instead! I definitely recommend this one.
I, like you, don't mind HOG as long as there's some relevance to the game /story. However I should probably comment on a recent purchase which surprisingly left me very disappointed. The dev of "Darkmoor" released " The secret of Margrave Manor" and I consider myself loyal to the devs who produce suitable and enjoyable adventure games. But "Margrave" is room after room of HO (G). It seems like a really lazy effort considering its predecessor. Just felt I needed to share.
So Darmoor Manor was a good game then? I hadn't tried that one yet. I actually avoided Margrave Manor because I was positive that was one of those games that had been passed back and forth between App Store accounts over time, albeit under different names. I might be getting it confused with a similar style game, however. Either way, if it's basically HoG only I think I'll stay away.
I didn't even know they had a new game out. I really liked Darkmoor (despite its weak ending). Looking at the Margrave screenshots, it does appear to have some HOG. Maybe I'll try the free version out sometime, but I agree -- HOGs are just not fun.
Oddly enough, this appears to be the first freebie from Big Fish where I have not been asked to download another game shortly after starting, in order to continue playing. I am now in chapter 8, and still have not been asked yet.
Not sure if anyone has played or mentioned this one, but it's currently free: Rewind: One Last Chance
List Of Adventure Games (Part 2) Ohhh there is a lot of new games I found in this thread. Will try some of them after I finish playing my few other games.
I haven't tried them yet, but that's too bad to hear. I just saw a press release that they were gearing up for a part 3 as well.
