The Trace is out a day early. I got to play it in advance and highly recommend. Here's my full review: http://www.appunwrapper.com/2015/03/25/the-trace-review-crime-scene-investigation-at-your-fingertips/
Haha I'm too busy having my brains mushed up and handed to me on a plate. No seriously, it's awesome. And since you mention it, here's a little teaser (which I'm guessing you saw, otherwise you wouldn't be bringing it up!). I kept it mostly spoiler-free, but it does have a few screenshots. Also, it's massive. And clever. And you're gonna love it. http://www.appunwrapper.com/2015/03/24/teaser-glitch-games-forever-lost-3-scheduled-for-release-this-spring-and-its-massive/
Well, I did happen to see that, but I had a sneaking suspicion that you were on the beta team anyway. I actually am too I'm not nearly as far along as you are, though from what I have played so far I really do like it.
I've also been taking my time with it, trying not to rush through, because I'll be sad when it's over.
Btw, if you haven't played it yet, Adventure Escape: Murder Manor is a pretty good free game. After the agonizing experience that I've been having with Agent Alice, it got me thinking of free adventure games that actually do it right: http://www.appunwrapper.com/2014/12/16/adventure-escape-murder-manor-mystery-room-doors-and-floors-detective-story-walkthrough/
Headed on over to grab this one and imagine my shock when I found out I already had it! Guess I should actually start playing some of these games that I download
I often do that as well. Problem with that is by the time I go to write a review I start getting everything mixed up!
That's a good point(ofLight). Onw of the games is FL3 -- I'm annoyed with myself for being stuck lol.
So...any fans of the Room here? I just played this game last night and I highly recommend it. It's only for iPads (which I don't have to be sad about anymore! Yay!). It's called Puzzle House: Mystery Rising. Part one, with sequels planned. Here's my review: http://www.appunwrapper.com/2015/03/31/puzzle-house-mystery-rising-review-roomier-than-the-room/
Actually, I really didn't think I was going to like The Room because it was basically a mini-puzzle game loosely tied together with a story, and I much prefer the emphasis of an adventure game to be on object puzzles and NPC interaction. It just happened for me that the puzzles were so intriguing in The Room that I was able ignore all the stuff that was missing. Either way I think you'll be quite pleased with FL3.
What didn't you like about the Room? This game has Room-like aspects, but it's still very different. Read my review before writing it off.
Well let me say I didn't like the room either. Though I liked the idea it was a very good game. I just don't like the creepy vibe. I could not tell if this was just creepy or meant to be horror or what was up... Lol
Well, if that's the case, this one's not creepy. It all takes place outdoors. Bright, sunny outdoors.
Oh, that looks interesting. I'll give it a shot and take your word for it Appunwrap... I liked The Room
