    :D :D

( it's two smileys as I had to make the message at least 4 characters long. I realise now I've made it much longer. )

I played Panmorphia, completed it, and enjoyed it thoroughly, with some rather tricky, and in some cases, devious puzzles, in that game. The game was updated recently to add an easier play option.

I was very happy to support the developer by purchasing this game. When I was experiencing issues, she responded to my email almost immediately, and shows that she is a developer who cares about her product, and I look forward to seeing more games from this person in the future.

Attempting to play through Gold Rush! right now but the finicky nature of the click/tap recognition is frustrating. Just getting from one screen to the next is a chore.

That's too bad. The PC version launched at $40 (with an oddly stubborn about the price dev given simultaneous users on Steam peaked at half a dozen) and I was hoping the iOS version would finally be worth a look.

Disclaimer: the peak user data I mention was obtained before the pc version's sole, half off, sale.

  12. Hello everyone!

I am back from the dead! Didn't mean to disappear, but we have spent the last year and a half just overhauling all of our old games to support all of the new devices. Very tedious, but worth it for sure.

Anyway, I'm super excited to share the news that we are hard at work on our latest game, Return to Grisly Manor!

It has been 5 years since the original came out and we wanted to do a proper sequel.

It will be our biggest and best game yet - about twice the size of The Lost City.

Here is a link to the TA thread where I will be uploading screenshots:

Thank you for all the support over the years, I hope you are all doing well!

    Warm regards,
    Joe

Hey Joe, nice to hear from you! Congrats on the new game, first couple of screenshots look really nice! Very much looking forward to playing this.

  14. Looks like I bought an iPad just in time for all these great games coming out. :)

  15. Thanks Graham! I am excited for you to play it as well!

And thanks @appunwrapper for the great walkthroughs over the years! :)

Definitely very good timing :) Have you replayed any adventure games on it or just played new games so far?

Any idea how long we'll have to wait? :)

  17. Haven't replayed any adventure games on it yet. Been busy with new ones and upcoming ones. Too many games, too little time!

There are some I want to go back to that I either didn't start or didn't finish bc I didn't like playing them on my tiny screen. At least my iPad has the space to hold a bunch so they're in my face, reminding me to play them eventually!

Can't wait! While Grisly Manor was a bit short, I'm pretty sure it was one of the first to move away from the whole "hidden object = adventure game" paradigm, and it was still a really fun game. I am definitely looking forward to the return!
