Btw, if you're stuck, I also have a walkthrough for it here, which includes videos for each level: http://www.appunwrapper.com/2014/10/16/the-silent-age-episode-2-walkthrough/
Yeah, I was checking out your site last night and saw that. Haven't started part 2 yet, so thankfully I'm not stuck However, I did find out today that you can in fact play part two without completing part one. Here's hoping I can get to it this weekend, though most likely it won't be until next weekend.
You mean Haunted Manor? The second one is also out now. Working on a walkthrough but it's a HUGE game! http://www.appunwrapper.com/2014/10/31/haunted-manor-2-the-horror-behind-the-mystery-full-walkthrough/
New Secret Files game: Secret Files Sam Peters. Haven't tried it yet, but if it's half as good as the first one I'm sold. The only thing I don't get is that apparently this is the third in the series, so I'm not sure why they didn't port the second one.
Hi guys! It's been some time, but I'm finally back! With my new adventure game (this time in full 3D, made with Unity engine). iOS version is possible in the future, but for now the game will support Windows, Mac, and Linux. This is a nonlinear courtroom drama set in steampunk Paris. You play as Alfred Ethon - french inventor accused of a brutal murder. You can find some screenshots, and a trailer here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/bohemian-killing/x/651308 Also there's a new FB fan page: https://www.facebook.com/BohemianKilling Direct link to the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-3qvY_07Jo Let me know what you think Cheers! Marcin.
Well, you know I've always been a fan. I don't play much on my PC any more, but the trailer was pretty awesome. Might just have to break down and go old school IBM with this one when it comes out
I'll keep my fingers crossed! After playing Hellraid: The Escape on my iPad 2 I know even the older devices can still handle some pretty decent graphics when done right.
So I finally got around to finishing this one, and I did experience a couple of crashes at the very end (one when entering the last temple and one after completing the last mini-game). Thankfully neither one caused me to lose any progress. Overall I found the game enjoyable and worth my time, though sadly as the game got closer to the end it seemed like there was a lot of traipsing around and very little "real" game play.
So I finally got around to trying this one out. It's one of those odd games where I can't really decide if I like it or not, but I keep wanting to play it. Unfortunately I'm now stuck in chapter two and can't find any walkthroughs or anything online, so I guess it's an email to the developers. Anyway, the game feels a bit like The Silent Age in layout, because typically you can only move left or right (with the rare exceptions where there might be a ladder to climb or a door set in the background that you need to walk in). From a game play perspective I wouldn't consider it an adventure game as much as I'd say it's a series of mini-games tied together with a story, many of which require you to find several objects in order to compete. Rather than being several different objects, however, they are multiple quantities of a single object (ie: I'm currently looking for 9 pipe tiles which I assume will then let me play one of those games where you have to connect all the pipes so that water flows from one place to another). Unfortunately the game doesn't do a very good job of cluing you in to the hotspots where you'll find the mini-games in the first place, and until you've "revealed" a mini-game you can't start collecting that game's objects even if you see them in the scenes. The music is pretty good, and I like the visual style, but the drab tones and overabundance of details sometimes makes it really hard to spot the objects you're looking for. If what I've played so far is a good indication then the game is a decent length, though some of that in the beginning was just trying to figure out what to do. I won't say that I'm not enjoying it, but I will say "proceed with caution".
Anyone know ANYTHING about The Last Door Complete Edition? On pocketgamer they stated the game was out for Android and iOS at first. Then they said it doesn't seem to be released on iOS. Which is true since I looked for it. Any feedback concerning that?
Well, I received a press release on Thursday saying it was available, but I just tried the link in the email and it came up with a "this item not available" message. I just wrote to the PR person from Phoenix Online Studios, but I would be surprised if I got an answer before Monday. If I hear anything I'll post it here.
