I know this isn't really iOS related, but right now if you sign up for the Microids club you can get a free copy of The Secrets Of Atlantis - The Sacred Legacy for both PC and Mac. You actually get a copy of both regardless of what type of machine you actually have. Here's the link: http://www.microids.com/EN/microids-club
I finally started playing Machinarium, and deleted it soon after. The controls on iPhone are so frustrating, I just wasn't finding it fun. Such a shame, because it really is a gorgeous game, and I like the whole idea behind it. Anyone else have trouble with the controls?
Thanks for that one! Hadn't heard of Sea of Giants before. Took a gamble based on the screenshots, and it really is a gorgeous gem of a game. How did I miss it when it was released?
Good to hear. This one eluded me as well until the first time that it went on sale. I passed on it then, but at 99 cents I had to pick it up. One of these days I might even play it! Did you happen to see any of the details on this one? I'm just wondering if it has anything to do with the already established Alone In The Dark franchise that pops up from time to time on various platforms.
I can live with that. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Very polished game. I do suggest turning on difficult mode, though, so the game doesn't tell you where everything is. Is it still on sale? I thought I saw it go back up in price.
Hadn't seen this one yet, but it looks interesting. In case anyone's interested, here's the link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/elarooh/id848291262?mt=8. Now I assume this is just a slight break from the next game you're working on, right?
Actually, as a game maker 40+ years in the making I'll cut them as much slack as they need I've actually got the programming part taken care of in my pursuit; I just need to turn from my dark corporate programming ways and see the video game light!
It's nice to see some activity here again. I was beginning to think you all had left me Right now I'm working on The Ghost Archives: Haunting of Shady Valley HD from G5. I like it so far, though I wouldn't expect too much out of the ordinary as far as hidden object games go. The "helping ghosts instead of capturing them" concept is a nice angle.
I wish they would scrap the hidden object games. It's so frustrating that all these gorgeous games are HO. I don't really enjoy them, so even though I have a bunch of G5 games from when they went free, I don't actually play them. And there's so many!
Haha, one of the best things about making adventure games is that we get to play others for 'research'
