I've seen stuff like this before too. Kind of interesting. Certainly beats the droves of escape games that show up in the App Store
Haha. I'm really curious about it. I think 10 people sounds like too much, though. I would rather be trapped in a room with 2-3 people than 10 who probably wouldn't be able to agree on anything.
Agreed but you only have an hour to escape. Usually takes me days so any extra help would be beneficial. Would be great as a birthday party
Couple of new games: Fabled Legends: The Dark Piper HD - A Hidden Objects Adventure Vampires: Todd and Jessica's Story HD Doggins
True. An hour does sound kind of rushed. I like to take my time with games. I think it costs around $30 per person and you need to make reservations. I hope it's worth the $30.
For what little credit they seem to receive I can fully recommend the Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective series of games. Being ports from home consoles, which were themselves ports of board games, they are somewhat short but also cheap and very very good. Hidden gems if ever there were. *Having now fully finished all three titles I will say again that each is absolutly worth playing but The Tin Soldier stands out as the strongest case among the three and the most enjoyable to solve.
I don't remember why, but I seem to remember not really caring for the game myself. I know that's not very helpful, but it's the best answer I can give without actually playing it again.
Playing now. A bit glitchy and similar in the structure to our beloved Fire Maple Games. No where near or lush as FMG but not bad overall, though can't read the journal ( too small on phone - I wish devs would consider this when designing games across multi devices as in iPad and iPhone) Going blind #
Personally I'm not very impressed with the game so far. I don't know how or if you managed to complete the first puzzle on your phone, but I found it annoying even on a full size iPad and ended up skipping it. The second puzzle was too easy and the third one totally escapes me so far. I also have this fear that it's basically going to be all mini-game puzzles and no actual object based puzzles (or very little, at least).
Here's a new one: Perils of Man: Chapter 1 - Adventure Game. Also, even though it's not strictly an adventure game, The Moonwalls have a new game: Demon's Law
Couple of new games: Nightmare Town: Text Adventure Brink of Consciousness: The Lonely Hearts Murders HD - A Hidden Object Adventure Brink of Consciousness: The Lonely Hearts Murders - A Hidden Object Adventure
Here are a couple more currently free: Hidden Mystery Objects: Forbidden Love Collector's Edition Hidden Adventure: Time Travel Platinum Moonlight Mysteries: Hidden Objects Puzzle Adventure Premium Edition
Perils of Man looks like it could be potentially awesome. It's from some of the same people that made Monkey Island. Why's it free though? That seems odd unless it's really short like A Darker Shade of Red.
