Microids is having a Halloween sale: Dracula 1: Resurrection (Universal) Dracula The Last Sanctuary HD Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon (Universal) Frankenstein - Extended Edition HD Jack the Ripper - Letters from Hell - Extended Edition HD Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde - Extended Edition - HD
Some new-ish games: Haunted Escape: Wrath of Victoria Bedtime Stories: The Lost Dreams Enhanced Edition Tales of Terror: Crimson Dawn HD - A Hidden Object Adventure A Taste for Murder
I think that Haunted Escape:Wrath of Victoria, is a real find, and not to be missed by those who like adventure games, with not a hidden object scene to be found.
How's the text and gameplay on an iphone? I know that the same dev made "The Haunt" and I gave up on that, due to the small screen and lack of hints...
I probably would not want to complete the game on a phone, since some puzzles may be rather hard to complete, and some objects are hard to see, even on an iPad. However, someone in the thread specifically dedicated to this game did mention that the game is do-able on a phone. On a side note, I have a few adventure games on my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone, and find things to be trickier to do than games I have on my iPad, mainly on account of the smaller screen. Regarding hints for this game, there is a walktrough on the developer's website. I did use it a couple of times, since there were some objects hard to see in a dark room that I had missed finding earlier.
Some more games: The Lost Treasure of the Templars (The Mysteries of Maggia) The Pieman City Of Fools Premium Edition
Deathless - Horror Story - Vampire (English Version) is free right now. Unfortunately it is not universal, so hopefully it will size up okay on an iPad.
I downloaded this on iPad, doesn't look too bad, but it does have ads in it. So far, the ads haven't interfered with gameplay, though.
Hello ya all people I am Android user but I found this thread to be the best about adventure games so I would like you people to please help me choose my next games I played so far, these: The Room Lost City Grisly Manor Forver Lost 1,2 (best ones so far) Mosaika all IDAC games Amphibius developers Zombie and Curse series (android only, and VERY good, try it) I really liked Forever lost for 2 reasons: scary setting hard so, could some of you please recommend similar games .. ? I found Forever lost and IDAC games to be chalanging and all others are kinda easy, for me .. I was dissapointed by Mosaika as it literally leads you through the game, there was not one single moment in the game where I had to think more than 1 minute. thanks all in advance, I am browsing the whole thread but I would appreciate if you could make it easier for me to find the games I would want .. thanks all!
Wow, thank you so much! Really glad you liked our games! FL3 will be coming sometime in 2014 however we have a new game coming sooner called Ferris Mueller's Day Off, it's another adventure game that although on the service may look simpler and more childish it really isn't. Out of the two reasons you liked FL for our new game may not be scary but it is certainly still hard You can see a little bit about it here - https://www.facebook.com/FerrisMuellerGame Have you played any of the Digichain games? Not sure if they're on Android though. Plus if you haven't played the LucasFilm or Revolution Software classics you really should.
I can think of a couple more adventure games that present a good challenge, those being The Haunt and The Haunt 2. The Haunt is considerably more difficult, and longer, than its sequel.
I have an iPad but I kinda built it into my car system, and it is fixed into the car system without the possibility to take it out of there, it is iPad1 I use it instead of the car stereo I will try Ferris Mueller's Day Off as soon as it comes available, for sure. I read about the new game engine and all. Thanks for the tips, I will also try the Haunt 1,2 as I became crazed with room escape and adventure games. Wish someone would port browser classics like: Sagrario Neutral's Rooms (all of them are awesome) My Diamond Baby (sickest and hardest game ever) to mobile systems. If you havent tried them, you must as those rooms are pioneers of this genre, especially Sagrario room, till this date best "one room" game ever and many game developers stole from those rooms. Note again that they are all in-browser games.
I am a bit dissapointed by The Haunt. Graphic is blury and dark, and logic behind some puzzles is just silly. XO riddle on the stears wall to solve basement safe combination has more than 10 possible logical options and only one is the solution. And all other riddles are like that. and this puzzle is just .. dumb: WHY would purple go from top to middle, green from middle to down, and yellow from down to top .. ? That is just random, no logic at all ... waiting for the next good game, or to find some that I've missed. I abandoned The Haunt. I like hard games, I dont like random solutions for puzzles. @GlitchGames - I will recommend you to other players on other forums, I am glad that there are people who really put their mind into making such games. I am a programmer (of different sorts, though) And I like the detailed approach you had when you made FL. Wish you good luck in future.
Actually, Igoritza, I did recommend the Haunt only on the basis that you were looking for a difficult game. Personally, I did find some of the puzzles in that game unfair, and will admit that I used the skip button more than once, particularly for some rather nasty slider puzzles in it and also, for that puzzle you mention in your post. I actually enjoyed the Haunt 2 more than the original Haunt, since the difficulty was toned down and the puzzles just seemed more fair.
