I lasted about as long as Teagen did with it-it was not an impressive release:

    New games:

    The Dead-day 1
    Old West Escape
    Escape The Amusement Park
Hideaways: Lost Island HD - Fun Seek and Find Hidden Object Puzzles

Old West Escape and Escape The Amusement Park are definitely escape games, but there's something about the presentation that almost makes them feel more like adventure games. Escape The Amusement Park isn't too bad, though I'm stuck in case anyone wants to try it and let me know how to pass the box that has the grey shapes as a lock. As for Old West Escape, I couldn't figure out a single thing in that one. There is an online walkthrough, but it's a video and I much prefer text walkthroughs. Anyway, I probably won't mess with that one too much more. I wanted to try The Dead-day 1, but apparently I need to update my iOS version first.

Anyone that has younger kids (or likes to play games geared towards younger folks), here's a free hidden object game: Abby Cat

Dang, I can't believe that was so easy. I haven't tried it yet, but I know exactly what you're talking about.

I'm still embarrassed by how easy that was. So I've gotten further on Wild West. Where are you stuck?

In the bar. Does 3/8 relate to colours?

Nope, think of it as a fraction...
. Once you get past that I'm stuck again :) I've got two of the four gold coins I need and don't know where to go from there.

Done. That one was trickier. Have you ridden off into the sunset Eric?

Yep, I just figured it out :) The one that stumped me the most was the box with the four circle locks with smaller circles inside of them. Took me a bit to figure out which graphic was the clue to that one! I think the collision detection was off a bit as well, because there were a few times where I had to click things more than once before the game would acknowledge that I tapped something. Still, overall they weren't a bad couple of games.

Agreed. They both reminded me of Mystery Lighthouse. Probably because of the cartoony graphics.

Was set at the right level of difficulty with all the clues there but just took a bit of figuring out

Yeah. The frustrating thing is that the best puzzle of the bunch (the one you gave me the hint on) - I don't think I would have ever gotten that without your help. I don't know how you decided to do what you did to solve that one

Next installment of Awakening series just released by BFG in Canadian App Store. Well probably be in US store in a week or so.

BFG releases are really fast and furious these days. Unfortunately I have to be more discriminating in my purchases due to a humongous vet bill . But worth it as the furry beasts are now all recovered :)

Will probably buy Awakening:The Skyward Castle. Have to find out what happens to Princess Sophia. Not sure if its the conclusion or not.

The description over at BFG's web site says "epic conclusion", so I guess this is the end. Also, did anyone check out Grace's Quest: To Catch An Art Thief HD yet? I think this one just came out a couple of days ago.
