Not that the studio has done anything for a while, but this is sad news none-the-less: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/04/03/disney-closes-game-publisher-lucasarts.aspx
I don't find this surprising given Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm. Disney have also ceased production on The Clone Wars animation series. Anything to do with Star Wars is most likely going to be given the heave ho until they release part 7. let's not forget the infamous Disney vault...or as i like to call it...the Great and Powerful Disney Cash cow. LucasArts games...memories.
I deleted it once I finished the free version without thinking...I went to purchase the full version and realized I would have to start over so i declined It's the first BFG I've enjoyed in awhile. I loved the graphics, story line and balance of hidden objects/adventure

Dark Arcana: the Carnival HD (Full) is on sale right now for 99ยข (regular price $6.99). This is one of the better games of this genre and is highly recommended, especially at this price Developed by Artiflex Mundi (Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden, etc.), released by G5.
Gemini Rue is out in NZ. Link is to the release thread. Has anyone played the PC version? http://www.wadjeteyegames.com/gemini-rue.html
I started it but deleted. It was very slow (loading time) and lacked oh so much. It wasn't clear what you are suppose to find unless you open your notebook and click on the task. Very boring
Whether or not the gameplay is good, there's no question that by and large the characters in most of Nevosoft's games look dorky, and the animation usually isn't that good. Now I have to admit that this game looks interesting at best, and honestly doesn't even look all that appealing, but the character renderings are incredible, especially given their track record: Hypnosis. Note that this is a Youtube video.
So I spent a little time with Where Angels Cry last night. The good news is that it potentially has a really interesting story, with a missing monk and a statue that appears to cry blood. It also has some cool cut scene visuals, and the graphics overall aren't too bad. Plus, it appears to be strictly an adventure game with mini-games tossed in for the fun of it. I haven't run across a hidden object scene yet. That being said, I decided to play the casual mode so I'd get lots of direction and see all the sparklies for things I had to do, yet very rarely do I see any sparklies. Also, once you're given a new task you have to open your task book and expand the task to find out what you actually have to do. To me something like a task log should be for a reminder, not your initial source of explanation. Also, while at first I liked the voiceovers, it seems like every monk is voiced by the same actor with some cheesy software trying to vary inflections and such. Either that or most of the cast are just bad actors. Overall it's not bad so far, I just would prefer not to have to go to the task book all the time.
