I have resisted temptation from BFG this time as my backlog seems to grow daily.

    Has anyone tried Chronos Salvation?

Haven't tried it yet, but I did buy it once it went on sale. Maybe this weekend? I also ended up buying Castle Dracula which I posted the link to a few days ago, and I'm looking forward to trying that one as well.

ALSO, EA is having a huge Presidents' Day sale. :)

Funny you should pick on me in this kind of dilemma. Unfortunately, it appears that they have pulled the app for some reason. Unless there's a chance you backed it up via iTunes sync at some point, I don't think there's a whole lot you can do. It's probably not as friendly, but why not just use the web site on your iPad browser? I never tried the app, so I don't know what bonus functionality it provides.

I LOVE/D the app! It was a fast way to check/update my wish list, see new sales etc. I still have it on my iPhone. I looked into the removal and it seems they are coming out w a new app but we know how that usually ends up.....:)

FYI I use iCloud. I can't use a back up bc I'm trying to diagnose some issues my iPad is having. I want to rule out any issues w past back ups:)

I use mSecure on my MacBook Pro, iPhone, and iPad. It does everything I want (local encryption, data syncing, categorization, different icons).

You play as a skeleton finding objects and solving simple puzzles. It didn't save my progress but I hadn't finished the first level. Seems ok

Well free to try works for me, so I'll definitely be checking this one out. In the mean time, have you tried the Simon The Sorcerer port? I remember checking out the first one and I seem to recall it being rather enjoyable.

So has anyone tried Chronos Salvation yet? I probably haven't spent quite enough time with it yet to critique, but I'm not real impressed so far. The only puzzle I've solved is getting past a security door, and I basically did that by "randomly" pressing numbers until it worked. There actually is a method to it, but it's still kind of lame compared to actually having to find the code elsewhere. Anyway, that was all I had time for, so hopefully I'll get to play with it again more soon to see if it's really worth the time or not. It does seem that while loading times aren't terrible, there are a lot of them throughout the game. Also, it appears that the game is timed, which could prove interesting later on. Just curious if anyone else has some opinions on the game.

Unfortunately I found Simon the Sorcerer to be totally unplayable because of the controls. There were two different options (swipe or classic) and both were extremely hard. I've dealt with numerous games with crazy controls and this game was probably the worst. Games for ios are cheap enough that I don't have too many regretted purchases but simon the sorcerer is one of the few purchases i do regret.

Has anyone tried simogo's new adventure game Year Walk - it looks good, don't think I can resist purchasing it.

Are you on an iPhone or iPad? It's been a while since I've played Simon The Sorcerer, but I don't remember having that much difficulty with the controls.

As for Year Walk, it looks and sounds interesting, but at $4 I'll let someone else be the guinea pig (yeah, I know that's not expensive, but I want to go get some lunch today!)

I was playing simon sorcerer on an ipod touch 4g; maybe it's just me but I really couldn't play the game, the controls were just too difficult. I was also interested in flight of the amazon queen and a couple other games published by that company but after simon, I had to balk.

I'm going to be the guinea pig and get year walk - just need to find some room on my ipod. I'll let you guys know how it is.
