Has anyone tried Ravenhill Asylum yet? If you've played Mystery Manor from Game Insight it's a lot like that game except that it obviously takes place in an asylum. Basically you have to build a bunch of collections that are comprised of five objects that you find in various hidden object scenes. You can make friends with other players who will then show up in your game as patients to give you XP and money. You can also exchange objects that you've found with other players. The game is free, but of course it zaps you with IAP if you want to be able to play the game for any length of time without waiting for your energy to recharge. Still, in the beginning you can play for a couple hours at a time with no IAP, and if it's anything like Mystery Manor you should be able to get many hours of game play in before it becomes basically impossible to progress without paying real money.

Any chance someone grabbed Quick Escape - Library before it was removed from the iTunes store and has actually played it? I'm stuck trying to find the last key, I have two items I can't use and one puzzle I can't solve. I'm pretty much ready to delete it, but since I got this far I would like to finish it if possible. Any help would certainly be appreciated.

App of the Day on AppAdvice - and FREE PROMO's

Tesla's Electric Mist got named as one of the apps of the day on AppAdvice today!
Today's Best Apps: Poker Knight, Tesla's Electric Mist And More
Out of thousands of new daily apps approved by apple, they pick three each day as their apps of the day. Thought it was worth sharing.

And thanks to any of you who have already downloaded it, I really appreciate it.

I'll be posting some free promo codes today, and would like to offer them to this group as well. Just Private Message me and if you mention that you're from the "Adventure List" I'll prioritize you over any other requests. And it goes without saying that I would expect an honest and timely review in return. Thanks.

Ditto. I've not been active lately bc a certain company I now work for, has hold of my entire brain and body. Hopefully things will calm down a tad in a week or two.

Anyone upgrade to the iPhone 5? I did:D

We're trying to get nominated for Best Adventure Game in the Best App Ever awards so if you get a chance please consider voting for Forever Lost here. It only takes a second and please also share it with anyone you think might do the same :)

Also, if you haven't played Forever Lost yet please consider picking it up and telling us whether you think it deserves the nomination or not :D

What do you currently have? My next question would be do you use it for games or do you use an iPad? It's def faster and has a larger screen. My 4s is unlocked so I'm selling it.....it will obviously pay for the 5. Depending on what you will be using it for, I wouldn't pay more than an upgrade.

Have a 4. Do still play games on it a lot. And I need a bigger one than 16gb as mine is full.

I have that "full" problem too, though sadly I have a 32 GB device. I'm thinking they really need to invent an iOS unit with a terabyte of storage :)

I've been enjoying Tesla Electric Mist. Thanks for bringing it down to $.99 - I was waiting on purchasing it when it was $1.99 for whatever reason. Anyway, the game so far has been a lot of fun, though I haven't gotten through it all the way yet.

    State of Confusion!!
god, especially with retina assets for games. I have only had my iPad for 5 months, and have been bumping up against the 64gb limit for 3 of them. These games are getting huge!

Eric, looks like the game you were referrering to earlier has been released in NZ (later for everywhere else):

    Hollywood Monsters by Bulkypix/Pendulo

Man, 4gb for installation, not sure how I am going to swing that...

Wow, maybe that's why I had so much trouble installing it! Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to get back to it since I first loaded it up, but I have every confidence that it's going to be as good as Yesterday.

Wow. Then you would see a difference in many areas. The camera alone goes from 5 megapixels to 8 mp. If you had the 4s, enough space and no upgrade I would def say wait. I take it that you are eligible for an upgrade and don't have to pay full price correct?

Out of contract now so it would mean taking another one for 24 months. Would work out at about $400 upfront and then $54 per month. I don't know how that compares to American contracts

Tesla's Electric Mist just got published to the Amazon App Store, which means it's available on Android as well as Kindle Fire now.

Here's the link: Tesla's Electric Mist on Amazon
