Mystery Lighthouse has long loading times, so I couldn't get into it. Here's some of my favorites, that load screens quickly: The Lost City (already mentioned) Lechuza Cryptic Keep Arcanesium And of course if you haven't played Antrim Escape 1-3, start there They're fairly light on story, more about exploration and solving puzzles.
you never played Salem Witch Trials or the sequel? It's a must have! Nightmare Adventures was also amazing! Hop to it especially now that you have an iPad
Did I ever mention that I have like 10,000 games to play? That's really not much of an exaggeration either. Actually, though, I just checked out my purchase list for BFG's web site and I actually own Salem Witch Trials for the PC, which is probably why I never bought the iPad version. So what's the sequel to SWT?
Devil on the Mississippi is the sequel. BFG didn't do Salem Witch Trials. Mumbo jumbo did unless they sold it. You should put that on the top of your list
Big Fish Games is a reseller of Salem Witch Trials then. Trust me, I looked it up If Devil on the Mississippi is the sequel then I actually have played that one. In fact, that's one of them that I'm working on right now on my iPad. I grabbed it not long after I finished Houdini.
some names of advanture games:- 1)GTA Vice city 2)Stickman adventures 3)slime laborato 4)Black knight 5)Asgard.. I like all the adventures games..
Has anyone tried Avenue Flo (sorry for the AppShopper link, but I don't have iTunes going yet). It's set in the Diner Town universe of all Play First's "Dash" time management games, but it's actually an adventure game. It's free with IAP, and unfortunately you don't get to play too much with the free portion, but I played through it last night and it was pretty entertaining. I'll probably end up buying it when I get a bit more money in my account.
Are any of those games listed above actually for iOS or is the guy just spamming his awful essay-writing business?
Actually, both. At least some of those exist on the iOS platform, but since none of them are actually adventure games, it's clearly an attempt to promote an essay writing business. Sadly, the person can't even spell, which would not make me want to use his services, and if you're going to spam like that, you should at least put a link in your signature. The only thing worse than spamming is sloppy spamming.
As for Avenue Flo, I take it it's iPad-only? (I also can't see the word "Flo" without thinking of car insurance. )
Unfortunately, yeah. I could see a few of the things not working on an iPod Touch (like these little butterflies that you have to collect), but with a few tweaks I think it would be playable. Play First has several games that are iPad only.
When I see "Flo" I think of the tv show Alice and "kiss my grits". I think I've just dated myself As for good intro BFG, is think I remember Death at Fairing Point being more adventure/puzzles than HoG. Though the storyline might be seen as too "girly".
Thought you guys might find this interesting: Multi-player Point & Click in 3D. It's still early in development, but iOS is listed as one of the potential targets and the multi-player facet could be cool.
Congrats! If I find any break during this hectic week I'm there, but if not then I'll definitely be playing it this weekend.
Very interesting Mr Bond. Wasn't there a thread in the upcoming with a 3D vibe where you had to move your device to look behind things etc. That never seems to have come to fruition
I'd say they were adventures to him (most are action/adventure)and perhaps non-native English speaker? If essay writing in a different language, that might make more sense to me.
Triple hurray! Congratulations on the release! It's not even Wednesday and my credit card/iTunes cards are already starting to whimper!
