I've never actually even seen the movie, I'm just familiar with the premise.

Me too. I saw it as a play by a local theatre company first before I saw the film. I knew it was a classic but didn't think something about a giant invisible rabbit could be so captivating.

Sometimes oldies are the best ... I love love love Maltese Falcon and the Thin Man. Maybe it's just nostalgia.

Back on topic, I just finished Depths Of Betrayal CE. Lots of fun. Gameplay very much like Treasure Seekers as it is by same developer. Should be in US store any day now. New ones in Canadian store are: Strange Cases: Lighthouse Mystery and Twisted Lands: Insomniac. Neither demo wowed so I'm going to wait.

Harvey is a six foot invisible rabbit who is friends with Jimmy Stewart. Lovely film if you ever get to see it

Haven't seen Brave yet, but I take it you didn't like Cars? I actually didn't care for it the first time around, but for a while it was my son's favorite movie, so I learned to appreciate it. Certainly not their best film, but it's still kind of fun.

  7. Yeah, my nephew loved it too... But he loves cars in general.
I never cared much for it.

And Brave was visually impressive, and had a few laughs. But the plot was super thin.

I was afraid of this. From what I heard the Pixar people had one story and Disney made them scrap it in favor of this one. Wonder how good the movie might have been had they gotten to do their original script? On the other hand, it does go to show just how powerful the Pixar name is, because lack of a plot didn't keep lots of people from going to see it.

That's a shame. Pixar's had so many winners, that I do wish Disney woul have let them do their own thing. With Brave, there was actually a point where my friend and I turned to each other and said, "This is really bizarre, isn't it?" I won't say which part since you didn't see it, but it really didn't fit at all into the story, was actually the opposite of what you thought the characters should be doing. And apparently a lot of kids were scared of the movie, so it wasn't intelligent enough for the adults, or kid-friendly enough to please the younger crowd. So not really sure what they were going for.

I was talking a lot during it, too... Like "why are they doing that?" over and over. Dumbest "hero" ever.

Oh and my final gripe with the movie was that it didn't really live up to its title... Not even close.

    Anyway, back to games ;)

I was going to post a link about this yesterday but after watching the promo video I wasn't very impressed. Guess I should have let you all be the judge but I was trying to save everyone some grief :) the main problem I see so far is that it looks to be the same engine as their previous hidden object adventures, and if that's the case it won't be much fun.

    State of Confusion!!
    >grin<! I went through the exact same thing last night (Tigers Eye) and this morning. Posting the Microids game was kind of a penance for my failure last night.

Jewel Quest Mysteries:The Seventh Gate HD has just been released. A mixture of HOG and match 3 by the looks of it

Have you played all the games from TellTale? I actually haven't delved much into them yet, but I imagine you can't go wrong with any of them.
