Do you have a rough idea of how long it took you to play? I've played several G5E games and usually find them to be sufficient in length.
I've played the PC version of this one and it was awesome. Definitely kept me away from my iOS gaming for two or three nights
You are soooo lucky to get new releases first. This title really captured my interest. I think my promise to myself to buy no more games until I have got through some of the backlog is about to be broken
That is unfortunate-I find G5e games of all genres to be great-stellar graphics, game play, and length. Hopefully they will be able to produce one in the future that works for you...
I remember this game being talked about here before, so if you haven't had a chance to try it, the premium version of Playrix's Gardenscapes HD is free today. Link is to iTunes. Gardenscapes HD
This game is great. Most games I'm lucky if I get to play through once. I finished this one on both my PC and my iPad. I highly recommend it.
I didn't keep track of my play time. It just felt shorter than normal. I have enjoyed the other G5E games - Royal Trouble, Special inquiry and Treasure Seekers 3 - and they seemed to be enough game play. It's not that I didn't like Lost Souls. I loved it. The graphics were amazing. I enjoyed it enough that I wanted it to go on a bit longer.
I'm really surprised we get the games here first. I don't understand but I'm glad. I also saw another former Alawar now BFG (right now Canada only) Vampire Saga Pandora's Box I played this when it was an Alawar Release and quite liked it. Great storyline.
Gald to know I am not the only one. I know I should wait a bit before buying to see what reviews are like but I just can't. Now I'm trying to decide between Cursed Memories and Haunted Halls.
Don't know anything about Cursed Memories, but I will reiterate that Haunted Halls was a great game. It's weird, but in a good way, and I like that.
Cursed Memories was a tremendous amount of fun for me. Looking forward to seeing Haunted Halls. A really good G5e game is Royal Trouble: Hidden Adventures. Many people on this thread enjoyed it.
I also loved Royal Trouble. The dialogue was hilarious. It was great fun. I am trying the demo of Haunted Halls now. It looks promising. I have liked other games by same developer-ERS Games Studios.
So I played The Act today. Then I finished The Act today. Then I spun my device around a few times to see if I had missed something, and unfortunately I hadn't. At first glance it might seem like a Dragon's Lair type game, but it has a mechanic unlike anything I've played before. The story, while completely cliche, will amuse you and keep you hanging on to the very end. And, there are a couple of sequences that were rather difficult to figure out, at least relative to everything else. The problem is that when all is said and done, you can complete the game in probably half an hour or less, depending on your skill level. Of course you can go back and try to get a better "score" than your last attempt, but personally I don't see myself doing that. I'm not saying it was a bad experience by any means, and in fact I would actually probably recommend it. Those concerned about budget, however, will definitely want to wait until it's 99 cents.
App removed from site We're sorry, "Real Crimes: Jack the Ripper HD (Full)" has been removed from the App Store. Why?
I wonder of they are going to re-release it over here then. Must've been some problems with the original releases
