If you like the old Sierra / LucasArts 3rd person perspective games, you will love Yesterday from a mechanics standpoint. I'm not far enough into it yet to have a feel for the story, but based on the cryptic intro I think it's going to be rather interesting.

Ah nuts. I bought it this morning but at least I will be able to leave a review in the App Store. Really enjoying it so far and congratulations on another excellent game
Terrific!!! I knew something was missing lololol I was getting annoyed going back and forth to use items. The map will make it much easier to navigate! Thanks for the tip!
I've really enjoyed this game so far. I stayed up way too late last night playing it. It is the standard item quest/combo game, with several possible foes, a miner ghost (maybe), and other characters that you are not sure of. The graphics are good, unless you zoom in all the way on a hidden object scene. I have had one crash to iOS, but took that as a sign that I should be going to sleep. Overall I have really enjoyed it so far.
Okay, I'm sold. Downloading now. Hopefully I'll get to try it tonight (though realistically probably not until the weekend).
More new games: Jenna Jasmine: The Psychic Detective (for iPhone; iPad version came out couple weeks ago) Letters From Nowhere 2 Letters From Nowhere 2 HD Hospital Escape
If you prefer a lot more text and don't care about the visuals, here's a new IF game: The Warbler's Nest. If you don't know what IF means, you probably won't be interested
Okay, I'm having a lazy moment and don't feel like reviewing the thread. Anyone played Macabre Mysteries: Curse of the Nightingale? They just released the full version, and it sounds cool. Just wanted some opinions.
If I remember right-good but not great graphics, intriguing storyline, hard to control on the small screen.
So if I do decide to get it, go big, right Actually, I just got a copy of The Act, so combined with the last chapter of Moonwalls, Mystery Lighthouse 2, The Secret Of Arcaneisum and Yesterday, I'm probably going to wait for a bit on that one anyway
I didn't make the game for very young kids. I wanted something that could be a good experience for older kids as well as for people my age (28). It's simple, but definitely not TOO simple. Plus you can go beyond just the "game", and explore the different responses to whatever you type. The trophies add in a healthy amount of frustration as well.
Thank you for chiming in. That's why I'm glad developers hang around these forums Good luck with the game.
Hmmm I played the CE a while back and remember really enjoying the graphics but then again I played on iPad. I thought it was worth the money. So far I loved everything by Blue Tea Games on iPad - Macabre Mysteries: curse of the nightinGale and Dark Parables: exiled prince.
I'm playing Lost Souls Enchanted Painting right now. Not overly challenging but still fun. The music is a bit weird as it doesn't really suit the storyline. The HO scenes arent too difficult considering you can't zoom in on them which I find annoying. Maybe I'm just used to being able to zoom in most games. I'm going to try to add a link to the app store. Hope this works. Lost Souls Enchanted Paintings HD Update: Just finished. It's a bit shorter than I expected for a standard $6.99 game. The CE is $9.99. I don't think so. Most BFG CE games are $6.99 with pretty long game play. Not sure if I'll buy another G5E game.
