Wow lots I tips!! Answering to the question i'm definitely not for room escape games...makes me go mad!!! I think I'll definitely try lost of winds (cos it sounds like a "safe" game)..and birzzle pandora! I'm playing drawsomething too!! I kinda like it..especially with friends..we play while working together (I shouldn't say that) and it's fun cos we laugh from desk to desk ahahah!!!!

I love Heroes Of Kalevala. Building up the cities in between match 3 levels was pretty cool. I never really got into Bubble Town, though.

Azkend 2 by 10Tons is out, patched, and a lot of fun as well. I will admit to being biased, though, as I do testing for them.

G5e has a new game coming soon that looks like it might be in the same genre (and with the same stellar graphics) as Royal Trouble. The link is to the iPhone version of the game on the G5e site.

I don't do testing for them, and I loved this one as well. It has a very epic feel for being a match 3 game.

This should be interesting. I loved Royal Trouble.

I was wondering when this was coming. I figured something was up when a different company produced the latest Fighting Fantasy iOS conversion. I thought Big Blue Bubble did a pretty good job with them, so hopefully the same care will be taken under new hands.

Me too! no testing at all, but just looked at the trailers and I think I'll definitely go for Azkend 2...
looks like you'd have to save the world riding a dragon (can u use the word "riding" for a dragon? :D)...But you actually just have to match three! Lovely sensation :)

  8. Anyone play Crow? I have so many games right now that I really don't need it, but it's on sale and I'm tempted.

I was kind of wondering about that one myself, but I'm in the same boat you are. I do like games that stray from the norm, however.

I think you might have seen the Dragon Portals trailer. Below is the link to the Toucharcade forum for that game (iPad):

Azkend 2 is more a slide-to-match than a swap-to-match game. The link below is to the Toucharcade forum for that game (iPad):

I tested that one as well. It has amazing graphics, but I had a hard time with the gameplay and the mapping (finding my path). Overall, it really shows off the retina display well, but for me, gameplay overrode the graphics.

Sparkle, Heroes of Kalevala and Profitville are all incredible games. Boom Brigade and Dragon Portals were both pretty fun if I remember correctly, though not as good as the first three I listed. Joining Hands was an interesting game, though I never really got hooked on it or anything. The rest of their catalog I don't have much experience with.

Two new games for the list

The Spear of Destiny. Made by the same developer of Shadow Doll. Wasn't that one really buggy?

And Maestro Music of Death by BFG

I saw some videos of Spear of Destiny on youtube..looks cool! It's got that mixed lord-of-the-rings/indiana-jones-and-the-temple-of-doom graphic style.

But I can't find it in the apple store.
I just find some books but no apps...Do you think it's because it is only available in us apple store?
    I've got an italian account...
    what a drag I'm not finding it!!!

Link: The Spear Of Destiny. I think you might be getting developers confused, though. I did not see Shadow Doll in the developer's list of games. I did, however, see Little Laura, was was extremely buggy.
