Anyone tried Perfect Escape yet? I saw they just released an iPhone version: PerfectEsc, and I'm trying to decide which, if either, to buy. Not too keen on another "escape" game, but it does look good.
Yeah, that's how I feel with some other games. Enjoyed them up to a point, but now the loading screens are so annoying that I'm tryin to decide whether to just delete the games before completing them.
Hmm hard to tell from the description and screenshots whether it's worth buying. The translation is awful.
Yeah, but that could make it funny. The only thing that bugs me about the screen shots is that the girl looks like a porcelain doll instead of a human being.
I don't mind dialogue as long as can click it as I can read quicker than the characters can talk unless they have great voices. Love the devil in Brunhilda and the dinosaur in Mushroom Age. But dialogue would spoil FMG because they are not really story based and are more about the puzzles
I hear ya on that one. I've been playing adventure games long before they had voices, yet these days every time I play one without voiceovers I keep thinking "I wonder what that person would sound like?" I almost wish every adventure game would have a voiceover option, even if it came as a downloadable extra only if you wanted it.
I love the Hector voiceovers! One of those games you really should not rush. Although, I could do without certain sounds, like the Beef on Demand guy's nasty coughing
I must get around to starting this series. They have been sitting there far too long. Humour in a game is also a big bonus. I laughed out loud at the start of Puzzle Agent with the spaceman but again it just depends on the game
Don't recognize that character, so I'm guessing that must be in part 2 (or I just don't remember part one all that well).
Yep, part 2. You should start it because it's considerably longer and more challenging than part 1 -- gonna need time to work on it . I'm slowly making my way through.
