Currently playing Swordigo-it's a pretty great combination of a platformer and a light-RPG.

I decided not to play Draw Something, as Zynga just bought them, and I don't want to give Zynga my contact information-e-mail or facebook.

I was considering requesting a copy of Swordigo for review, and now I might just do that. As for Draw Something, that's too bad to hear. I'm not a fan of Zynga either, so I guess I won't be giving that one a whirl.

You will not regret the Swordigo acquisition. It is an unholy amount of fun.

I'm currently playing Boy Loves Girl, which is a runner that despite having the appearance of being the video game equivalent of a chick flick is actually rather amusing. It's nice because while you can eventually play an infinite mode for each world, when you start off the game each level has specific objectives to complete. Of course I'm a pretty big fan of infinite runners anyway, but it's always nice to have some variety.

Two new Big Fish Games out for the iPhone (I think both have already been on the iPad):

My Life Story: Adventures - not sure how to categorize this one, perhaps a life simulator (to a point). I am not sold on this one yet, and will have to spend some more time with it.

Dreams of a Geisha - a nice match-3 game with multiple play modes and power-ups. I like it, but I like match-3 games a lot as well.

Edit: Links and initial impressions added.

    Thanks!

I was just getting ready to add the links for you and when I hit the Quote button I saw the links were now there :)

I'm definitely going to have to check out Dreams, but I'm not sure about My Life Story. It just doesn't look all that appealing.

I had a chance to obtain a promo code on that one, but passed. I've decided I am not a fan of endless runners, likely due to my absolute lack of skill with them. I look forward to your impressions of Swordigo, when you get it.

I like match 3 games as long as they aren't timed. Then I get stressed. Is the new one timed? There was one that I really enjoyed with a spiders web and you had to release the letters. Always looking for similar ones

I like them when they are timed, but I also like being able to turn off the timing if I choose to. I loved The Treasures Of Montezuma 3, and I don't think it would have been nearly as exciting without the timer, but I could see where it would frustrate a lot of people because the base time was only a minute, which was not a whole lot of time when you got to the upper levels.

You can choose either timed or relaxed in Dreams of a Geisha.

I have to visit a dentist today

And BTW, I had no idea, that drawing an old, ancient forest can be so time-consuming - I'm still working very hard to finish the game, before the deadline :)

Have you tried this one yet? Are you sure it's a hidden object game (I assume that's what you meant by HdO)? Either way I like the visuals, so I might just have to download this one and give it a try.
