On a completely different note, how is Ashes & Roses doing? I picked it up the other day, but haven't had a chance to play it yet.
Very good, thanks for asking! But, still The Secret of Moonwall Palace is the best selling game I've sent promo codes to TA, and few other sites, so maybe if there are some reviews of A&R, it will boost sales even more And BTW, if you missed it, here is one of my lastest posts from FB page: "Hi everyone! Little update about next parts of The Secret of Moonwall palace (episodes 03, and 00): Episode 00 was supposed to be a free prequel to the entire series, but after completion, I realized that it will reveal too much of the main storyline, so it will be included as a part of episode 03 (available this May/June). It will add about 30 minutes of additional gameplay. In the upcoming week, I will post screenshots from the third episode." So... First set of screenshot (from few different locations from the third episode) will be available in two, or three days. And a special surprise this friday (no, it's not a game)
Cool! I'd pay more attention to the FB page, but as a general rule I try to stay as far away from Facebook as possible. I suppose I should embrace it like everyone else has, but there's something about it that I just don't like.
How can you tell? Do you have diff access as a developer? I did report him to apple and they said they would take care of it but that means nothing coming from them lol
Yes, I was asking about his accounts Maybe he is mentally challenged and doesn't understand? I am trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but.....I just can't see someone stealing a dev work, claiming it as their own, releasing a buggy piece of unplayable junk, and re-releasing the same junk under different names. In any case, maybe someone should suggest a new hobby.
I don't know much about Apple development (yet), but aren't executables basically signed so that Apple knows where they come from? It wouldn't be possible for someone to resubmit another person's software as their own, would it?
I don't know about how the iOS compilers work, but I would guess that they are more likely stealing art and sound assets, and perhaps frameworks and then adding their own info and then compiling their own (at least in their minds) programs.
A new G5e game that looks sort of adventure-ish: The Island: Castaway ( iPhone) http://www.g5e.com/games/island_castaway_1_iphone The Island: Castaway ( iPad) http://www.g5e.com/games/island_castaway_1_ipad
Has anyone tried Gothic Masquerade HD? The graphics look decent but not great, and while $2.99 should be a "that's not so bad" price, it just makes me a bit nervous that I'm not familiar with the company.
Haven't tried it but the reviews look like they have been written by the same person haha The graphics don't look crisp enough for a HOG. I'm not going to be the guinea pig this time around. However, I'm sure you won't have a problem finding another newbie that I would gracefully accept to play the role of guinea pig. On another note, I downloaded The Passenger bc it's free is it me or is the beg so slow? I couldn't skip it and when I was able to move, the tutorial started to put me to sleep. I deleted it for a time when I am full of patience
I didn't really find The Passenger to be slow at any point. The two problems I had with it were (1) a couple of the puzzles were basically impossible except for guessing, and (2) it was over way too quickly.
I should have been clearer, sorry. The game will release according to the usual Wednesday unlock schedule for your region (11:00 PM EST/8:00 PM PST).
Few new ones Echoes of the Past : Royal House of Stone by BFG Louvre The Messenger by Microids And The Island : Castaway Just finished Atlantis The New World and it was awesome. Ending was a bit pants though
There are also HD versions of Echoes of the Past and Island: Castaway. I do wish I would have bought Atlantis when it was on sale. I meant to, but I just forgot. Guess I'll wait for next time
