I got an email about 10 minutes ago telling me about this so I guess I am already entered. I did think, wow, 100 games. Then I thought , good excuse to an iPad if I win. Fingers crossed
You too. I am very impressed with their latest release A Gypsy's Tale. I don't think there are many that I haven't bought for the iPhone
Thanks. As much as I'd love to win it (and I'll certainly be happy if I do), I think I'd rather see someone win it that might have a chance of actually playing some of the games I wonder if they are just going to gift all the games to the winner and how they'll handle if you already own some of them.
As far as I know all of the games that are on iOS devices started as PC / Mac games, but the contest is just for iOS. With 100s of titles available on the PC, I don't think they would be willing to give THAT collection away
That's still a wow. Will give the pc ones a miss as I can't fit my laptop in my handbag. I notice that there have been some new releases for iPad. They look good so I hope they release them on iPhone in the near future
I could have sworn I saw an ad for an app that is for the BF contest. Even though I bought the full version of fairway, ads still pop up on the first screen. This is one contest I don't mind losing considering I own most of their games. I'm not one to win contests so I'll save the crossing fingers and praying to the game goddess for something worthwhile
Was TipTop Apps one of the company names that the guy who was repackaging the Father Simmons game used (god that was an awkward sentence...)? It seemed like that was one of the names but my brain is far too dull to remember today. If so, he is now stealing other companies' content to repackage and sell. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?threadid=125592
Will someone push that guy off a cliff already?! He keeps coming back around like a bad joke. Lololol I'm surprised that devs have yet to confront him. I hate seeing or reading about people who have spent money on his apps only to realize they have been taken. They can join my club.
The thing is, I'd hate to infect the soil with his residue when he hit bottom It bugs me that Apple won't do anything about it, but I guess they figure as long as they make money out of it what's a little violation of ethics?
I am certain that Apple's counsel has told them they have to stay neutral to avoid getting tangled in any IP suits-they are spending enough in patent suits already.
What it needs is one of the ripped off companies to sue. I think Fire Maple Games was non too pleased when his description was used on the release of Father Simons but the description was changed. Should have taken him out then
Thanks for the info! BTW, any Counter Strike fans here? Father Simons creator is back: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/counter-strike/id505522871?mt=8
The lastest news - Counter Strike was deleted from App Store, few minutes ago. I'm not sure about this, but I think that 3 of his 4 dev accounts are banned, because he didn't publish anything on them for some time.
