Sadly, response isn't anywhere near immediate. I often have to wait half a day or a day between replies. The guy I was talking to today was decent, but I think they realize by now how irritated I am. You're missing a good one! Just get it finished on the first load and then you don't have to worry about if Big Fish takes it over or not
New IDAC paid: Escape Game "Last Night A Bike Saved My Life". If nothing else it has a really long, not so catchy name
RESPONSE FROM APPLE....NOT SURE WHY THEY WOULD APPLY MUSIC CREDIT WHEN I PLAY GAMES???? Issues with iTunes Store content are normally resolved within three weeks, but can sometimes take longer. I am very sorry that you haven't been able to download the app "Rebuild" for free. I know that this is not what you are asking for, but I want you to feel that you are important to us and I will be assisting you in another way. I have added a few song credits to your account. You can use the credit to buy the song of your choice from the iTunes Store. When you sign in to the iTunes Store with this account, the song credit will appear by your account name in the upper-right corner of the iTunes window. The next time you buy an individual song from the iTunes Store, the credit will be used to pay for the purchase. I wish that you continue to enjoy using the iTunes Store. Thank you for your patience as Apple works to make your experience with the iTunes Store more enjoyable. Take care
They actually did the same thing for me. That's one way to look at it, but giving me something I won't use is a pretty hollow gesture. And unfortunately they won't work in the App Store. When you're just shopping in iTunes it says "balance + X credits", but when you actually look at your account details it says "balance + X songs".
I never buy songs from iTunes so I have no clue how it works. One would think the same account would be used for both????
Yes, the same account is used for both, but apparently the credits won't actually be redeemed unless you buy a song.
I know that problems like this aren't always easy to track down, but as a programmer myself I'd say that if they really want us to believe it will take 2-3 weeks to fix this issue that means they aren't working on it very hard. Especially since we've given them examples over and over again of items that have the issue. I lost out on two more sale games this weekend because of this issue. So irritating...
It also tries to download apps that I got the error with last week. Very strange. I tweeted to Gameloft bc if the dev know, maybe they can put some pressure on these pple! Can you download anything? I'm going to try and gift it to myself.
I was actually able to download quite a bit of stuff over the weekend. I still did run into some issues, though. I don't think I've had any problems today yet (except, of course, for the items that went back up in price before I could get to them again).
Yeah, that's why I won't do that, even for a 99 cent item. It's ridiculous that it can't use my iTunes balance.
The Vampire Adalar is free again. I hope you can download it this time. The problems seem to be escalating
Good luck to those who weren't able to get it last time. I wonder if this had anything to do with me? I actually sent them an email last week explaining what had happened and asking if they could put it back to free again for a couple of days. I never got a response from them, so I just assumed they didn't get the email or weren't interested in my request. Guess I'll never know for sure
If they are decent developers then your email could have helped to get te game free again. On another topic - has The Train changed its name?
Well, my first thought was "not that I know of", but it appears that it has. The series is now called The Secret of Moonwall Palace, and instead of episodes the games are now subtitled - Ep. 1 is now "Magic Can Be A Crime" and Ep. 2 is "Murder on the Mumbai Express".
