Hope you enjoy it. Keep in mind that the only common threads between the Gamebook Adventures are the engine (which actually received an overhaul I believe around book 5) and the geographical area. Best I can tell, the actual stories themselves have nothing to do with each other.

  2. Really should stop buying the IDAC 3D games. Prank House is already free :/

Of all the ones that could've gone free, it had to be the one I bought. Typical!

  4. I've noticed that the only paid games that seem to go free lately (and shortly after being released, too), are the 3D ones. I think it's bc they're the most popular with the masses. It's why I almost didn't buy this one. But it's getting ridiculous -- they get their loyal fans to buy it and then a week or two later it's free?

I am not going to buy anymore. One a week on AppNavi will have to do. They are quite expensive for what they are and they are putting no new ones on the points bit so that has become no bonus

Sorry to you guys that shell out your money for this, but I'm glad I waited. Personally I've become quite bored with the whole room escape concept anyway. I have three or four sitting on my device right now that I can't even get myself to play.

On the plus side, The Lost City (from the creator of Grisly Manor) was submitted to Apple! Hopefully we'll have a new adventure game to play soon.

On a final, completely different note, I finally finished The Passenger. I'm sure this was brought up before, but I was stunned at how short it was once I finally got past the puzzle I was having problems with. It was interesting, but I'm not really sure it was worth it given the short play time and unbalanced puzzles.

Yipeee I can't wait for Lost City!

I finished Law and Order. It was fun but buy it when it's on sale. I wish diamond would put out another escape game. I like them and they are free:)

Now the diamond ones I like. Those have always been a lot more logical to me than the IDAC games.

I do wish they'd put L&O on sale, but this has been the second sale since the game's release with no price reduction.

  9. By diamond, do you mean TeraLumina games? I like those too, but they come out so rarely. Also, bored.com seems to claim them as their own on their website, which is odd.

What I assumed we were talking about were the games where you have to collect all the gems before you escape. I think that bored.com "publishes" the flash versions, while TeraLumina does the iOS versions. However, like most of these weird publishing arrangements, I really have no idea.

  11. Does anyone else see a "next" page when there isn't any? Was tired of clicking on a link that didn't exist, so this should create a real page for it :p

I believe it is a bug in the forum software. It happens when there are enough entries to fill a page but there isn't one to start a new page. Apparently their algorithm to calculate the next page is off just a bit.

Yes!!!! I have been so annoyed! It will show another page but when you click on the next page, the current page reloads. Ugh

Have just noticed that Evasion Alcatraz has just been released. This is the same game as A Way Out from Alcatraz and The Great Escape from Alcatraz. All released under different developers

  16. New IDAC App Navi game out: The Hidden Present. Funny intro ;)

Came out later than usual. Was worried that there wasn't going to be one. Working my way through it and am determined not to cheat

  18. Yeah, I was asleep when it came out.
It seems a bit less linear than their other games, no?

I agree. I'm finding it tricky but I have a whole week to solve it before the next one is released

I am getting so sick of these guys. I wish there were some way to report them, but I suppose they technically aren't doing anything wrong. Hopefully they aren't getting too much support from people actually buying their products.
