Own this on Xbox, no reason not to get it on my handheld of choice. Didn't realise this was coming tonight, nice surprise.
I think people should be free to criticize someone's language as much as they wish ... as long as they do it in the poster's native tongue. Fair is fair. Looking forward to this - I finished it on the Xbox long ago, so I'm sure I've forgotten a lot of the solutions.
Another 5th Generation only game. lol The top says it supports 4th Generation, then the Description says it requires 5th. Meaning it'll let you install it, but will come up with a message saying it's not playable. I guess I'll be missing out on this for now.
Same here. I'm going to pass. It's one thing with a game like XCom where I know I would probably be the only one in my house that would enjoy it, but with this I'd be the only one in the house with a compatible device and I know my kids would all want to play it but alas, no iPodTouch 4th gen support. And two of my kids only got their iPod's back at Christmas... which is just sad that this won't run. World of Goo worked fine (heck that works on a 3GS and 3rd gen iPodTouch). GTA Vice City works good as well. But Limbo? Nope. I think there will be a lot of 1 star reviews for incompatibility between the description and what the app actually allows. I don't think it should be a requirement to have to read the app description when the game lists that it's compatible with hardware that it isn't.
I agree thats frustrating. It seems to be an issue with the app store, they cant seem to be able to select 'just ipod 5th gen...' you either select one category like they've done or not. I've seen a few times it says 'ipod 4th gen' and all the others. But the description then says *** WARNING WONT WORK ON IPOD 4th GEN *** The old Walking Dead game, when that first came out it wasnt meant to be for ipod 4th gen, i instantly bought it then had a few emails with the devs saying 'why isnt this working ?' etc. Apple seriously need to change the way devs can select what devices its for as this issue has cropped up a few times. Sorry to hear its not for ipod 4th gen, i switched over to 5th gen last year so havent had any issues but its frustrating when you have a decent ipod and a year or so later you cant then play certain games on it.
Hmmm...love them Tuesday night releases! I've never played this game on my XBOX 360, so I'm looking forward to the (hopefully) faithful port.
Can anyone explain the checkpoint system in this game? In the original XBLA version, there is so-called impossible "no dead" achievement, requiring you to finish the game with three or less number of deaths. If you reload from a checkpoint after dying, will that count against you?
Most probably already taken on the App Store. I guess. I dunno...anything would've been better than LIMBO Game. Why not "LIMBO Mobile"? It works for Anodyne and Max Payne, and is pretty accurate. EDIT: ERMAHGAWD~! One minute left for me and I'll own LIMBO Game!
Game Impressions The controls are flawless. In fact, this sets a standard. The game is every bit as phenomenal as I remember it being at initial XBox release. Possibly even more so, as playing on the iPad grants an added element of intimacy I think. I'm finding it genuinely thrilling to be replaying it after a couple of years, and almost have to (fondly) envy anybody about to experience it for the first time.
Lol , lol omg I actually spit/blew pop out of my nose/mouth from laughter when I read this. Haven't done that for ages.
*hands you CygnetSeven's box of tissues* Looks like you'll be needing these. Apologies for the sticky keyboard.
