Working fine for me so far. Lots of small graphical updates. The game is much prettier now, IMO. Still waiting on the ability to DOWNGRADE an account, though. Still, loving the update so far. I got that error, too. To fix, double-tap the home button and exit out of Lil' Pirates (by holding down its icon and hitting the "-" sign). Open it up again and it should go fine. Did for me, anyway. IUGO! Let us change which email our account is attached to, or remove it from our profile, etc etc. Those are options I'd really like. [email protected]
To clarify everyone: We have content coming to you in the next few hours and then MORE content will be streamed to you in a couple of days. There is so much new stuff that we had to do it in chunks. You'll have access to the mountains of new items by the weekend.
This is proved to be right now, obviously. The devs found their voices again; not a single word on what happend or why they completely ignored their customer base in the last four weeks though! And please, don't try to tell us that the update simply took 4 weeks for approval I don't expect a dev to come here every day to answer every single question, but announcing an update and not giving a single word on what caused the massive delay (basically abandoning the forum) is not the best idea to keep customers happy IMO. So, hopefully, there is really good new stuff coming with this update as the game gets old soon otherwise.
I don't see anything either... I don't want to be blunt here, but I couldn't give a damn about new "themes", "items" and taking a photo of my ship!..... I just want to go higher than Level 50!!.. Will there be more maps and higher levels in this update, because that is why I will stop playing, not lack of themes and trinkets. Fishmaster [email protected]
The DLC for new themes, ship items, and character options will be coming soon. We just need to make sure the new update is proliferating everywhere so that the DLC downloads smoothly.
hey everyone, got a question. Just upgraded the game, and now i cant play it. The game doesent even load for me. Doesent even go to the "start button" screen. It just exists out as soon as i run the game.. anyone having this issue? i know the dev team said the updates arent finished, but i read some people could atleast go in a play the game...any thoughts? i see a new box at the main screen that says "enable local notifications!-Wopuld ye like to enable notifications for Lil' Pirates? They can help ye level up faster!" Enable/No Thanks. So which i should i choose?Any bugs if i choose Enable?

Trouble applying (dl'ing) update Also having trouble downloading update. Gets to 4% or so and closes out. I'll keep trying, perhaps overloaded?
No I am having them as well. Mine only downloads up to 8% then says "We're sorry, but there was an error downloading the update. Please try again" And i tried like 50 times it keeps doing the same thing? Anyone know how to solve this?
this is one of the most bullshit updates EVER. i understand the release of updates for this game and which is fine. HOWEVER, the in game update is just STUPID. it starts and crashes due to an error downloading. ever heard of resuming from cache/memory? seriously, mine goes up to 26% and it fails. then it starts at 0% again. im up to the point where it just says update failed without it even trying to download. do you devs even test your update patches privately before releasing this to the public? edit: to make things worse, i can't even sign into the game anymore with my email. another edit: i do believe the game is definitely bugged to hell. my download reached 100% and then said update failed and is now attempting to redownload whatever the hell its trying to download.
Work for f*&% sake!!!! Yeah, I've tried close to 20 times, and this in game update thing just isn't working.. I downloaded something from the update list from the AppStore, but that obviously is useless, seeing as how I am now prompted to get the in-game update as soon as I try to play. Obviously, like many of the other comments, an error occurs on my screen, and now I can't even play the regular game. So long 12 Perfect Emeralds I was about to dig up from my Treasure Island.. I was looking forward to bathing in your warm, green glow... alas... I hope you dirty thieving pirates spend them on stuff for your boat that I can only dream of at this point! This update better work tmrw.. I went from being extremely excited when I saw that it was finally out (I have been waiting so SOOO long) to now being severely pissed... DEVS: FIX IT!!!!
sigh...i dont even get as far as signing in with my email address....game keeps crashing everytime i try to launch it....oh well guess this is my last email. i understand i am not helping my complaining on here. Hopefully the devs come back with a fix and post it up soon.
Same issue. Loads as far as ~50% and error apology message. Also, if the screen sleeps, it exits out of the download, and the game. Big time fail. iPhone 4
