I have 22 doubloons and using a Caravel size ship. now facing short term task which need me to spend 10k silver and 5 doubloons. I want to save some more doubloons and upgrade my ship in the future(like the ship needed 999999.... silver). Should I use the doubloons to upgrade the size now and finish the task or just hold it and finish in the future?
Thats exactly where Im at. Im waiting for 30 dubloons so I can increase ship size and finish the spending mission at the same time. Kill two birds with one stone It should only take a day or two to get 16 more dubloons (I have 14)
Last Night, I decided to set alarm to ships battle. Well being half asleep, I LOST THE SHIP BATTLE!!! And after that... guess what.... I received a Game Over Screen. It seems as if they give you one continue. I was blow away! I thought all my work went down the drain... Now I wasted my continue. Sucks.
Yea I posted my email here last week and I received about 50 requests! It was unbelievable! Every day I wake up to about 80 gifts --> about 25 gift boxes --> about 5-15 dubloons if Im lucky. I probably open 50 gift boxes a day.
whoa what? they give continue screens now? i dont really get it, i thought when you lose..you just have to wait 2 hrs... um i have a few things to ask the dev and address to players: dev: 1. I know it seems repetitive..but is there anyway we know when the next update is gonna be out? 2. um....with the level 50 cap...i am guessing the experience after you reach 50 will not be carried over for future level lift? players: more frds = more doubloons...i am guessing hit the add thread since its remove.. @TSZTAI: doubloons is the preferred choice for me at least...30 doubloons is a lot easier to save then 9mill..trust i tried lOl it didnt work out well.. as a personal opinion..up your levels for missions that give you more.. first before you try to work hard on your ship, the higher the level, the faster you gain and level..with more silver and such. add the leveler: [email protected]
Now this is going to bug me. I was 2/3 asleep. I thought it was a continue screen, can someone please tell me what happened lastnight??? What happens when you lose a battle??? I KNOW THERE'S A GAME OVER SCREEN
A game over does not fit into the business model of this game. If you are game over, you will not buy doubloons anymore (and you will not start from scratch after spending weeks on your ship before). So I'd be very very surprised if there was a game over Maybe you just had a dream about a game over screen?

add more friends. add me: [email protected] - Do missions that has shorter times needed to complete. - Hire a crew member and assign them to their favorite missions. - Help friends by going to their ship daily. - Clear the rats every 2 hours (as far as i know). - Go to the battle icon to help you earn more silvers and FPs (every 2 hours). - Buy items and place it in your ship. FPs calculated as follows: Item cost/5 - If you have enough doubloons (you can get plenty of it if you have plenty of friends), try finishing the missions with it. Tip: If you have unlocked the Pilfer Jeera Rice, it is the best one. Using 1 doubloon with 2k FPs. Hope this list helps.
Is it possible to feel old after a week? So I've been playing Lil'Pirates for pretty much one week now. I've contributed a lot to this forum, received feedback from the DEVs and have dedicated enough time to buy all the ship sizes and be currently at level 29 without spending a cent, just by receiving doubloons from the gift boxes. Is it strange though, that I feel old reading some of the posts written by some of the people new to this game (again, as if joining this game a week later makes someone young..). I realize that most people logging onto this forum for the first time aren't going to go back and read every single post, but I have to laugh when I read some people putting "how crazy" it is that they open 50 gifts a day, when there are some people (including myself before I deleted about 200 friends) who had to go through 500+ items a day (including the super annoying "surplus treasure items" that were already gone). One day I got 80 doubloons in one day!!! Like I said, I feel old playing this now, and am probably not gonna write anything for a while. I'll clear up a couple things I just read though (which have obviously already been said): - The update was given to Apple by the DEVs on Friday, but it's not in their control when Apple chooses to release it. In other words, that question can't be answered here. - There is definitely no way of "dying" in this game, so there is also no way anyone saw a Game Over message. - The level cap is 50, but Odin, Ozzy, Koh, BenBen, the square symbol guy, and others are still accumulating FP, so for sure that will count towards future levels when the cap is raised (though I am guessing for this one, cuz if their continual gain of FP doesn't count, then why would they still play?? It would be a pretty crappy move on the DEVs part to make any further play useless by the best players of the game) - Yes Fellcor, I counted again on my next ship battle, and the level 28 battle has 16 cannons, but I should still totally win every time with 20. I have since won all others, but there have been times when it's come close again. If it's close now, I don't know how you're supposed to win the next one...

I think it depends on you if you want to buy them or not. If you really liked a specific theme then go for it. Not sure when they will release the udpates but expect the worst. Maybe a month or so? Don't know.
Hey there... I think leveling is not your game? (just assuming as you already feel "old" after a week). Not sure when I started this game, maybe 2 weeks ago? Well, others are really fast in leveling and I tried catching up on them. Now, I just enjoy my current level as when you reach 50, you might be bored as there is no assurance of what will be the next updates if you'll like it or not. LOL Also, being in level 50 makes you an almost worthless friend as you can no longer give bonus chests... just my opinion after reading Fellcor's posts... LOL my goal now is to fill my ship with the skeleton Loot and I think I'm halfway there. Edit: Reading again your post makes me think I misunderstood you. haha
I was afraid it was a dream when I first woke up but... It seemed so real. Oh my... I think I have been playing this game too much! Has anyone actually lost a battle and can confirm there is no GameOver screen? Because if there is not maybe dreams are damn vivid. With color.
