    Wow this thread has become quite the monster over the weekend!

    Great discussions and suggestions guys! We're reading all of them!

    Oh and we FINALLY defeated the evil, insufficient servers, replacing them with an almighty dedicated server! Lil' Pirates should run smoothly from now on. Thanks to all of you who stuck with us through the glitches. :D

    Sure thing I'll fire another listing out when a couple more thread pages are made no worries your on there and added and to anyone else who wants on that list I post it on3-4 forums so please feel free to post your name and I'll keep the list rolling as long as possible or till I am bored with the pirates game so get on it while my ADD isn't flared up...!!!!???

    I'm only 28, but you pretty much get more of the same:
    More efficient quests
    More boat fights, unlocking more themes if you aren't using doubloons already

    So far I don't think you unlock more ship items, at least I haven't.

    I am only level 21 but I think the game really lacks on the boat fights... So far, I have three different enemy captains and I beat them all on first try without using any of the helping items. Where is the challenge in that? And different cannons should have at least distinct characteristics, not just astethics...

    It's early days yet people, im sure the dev team didnt expect people to all add each other as friends and through that get everything they need before level 20, or even reach level 20 so quickly for that matter, i think the later levels may be lacking a bit because the game just isnt finished yet i guess, give the Devs time, im sure the next full update will bring a lot more with it ^^

    I've been playing on and off for a couple of weeks or so, currently lv22. I'll give a few suggestions for some improvements, forgive me if these have already been said and I am repeating them, this has indeed become a large thread and I don't have time to read all of it!...

    1) Please, o' please, o' please fix the 'sell all' bug on the treasure screen, I am sick of having to sell 100+ of each item singly, it just takes far too long and is really irritating.
    2) Please make the list of items received by friends in order of 'newest to top' instead of showing all friends in alphabetical order. By having them in alphabetical order I am having to scroll through hundreds of useless treasure items just to pick out the gift boxes. If the newest items were nearer the top then I could happily abandon the treasure nearer the bottom and never collect it. I am tired of having to dedicate an hour or so every so often to completely clear my received items, most of which I do not want.
    3) As above but instead have a 'receive all' button (I know this has been asked before many times).
    4) The option to fight friends. This was possible in Playmesh titles and proved to be a lot of fun (also can be irritating but if you keep getting beat then it encourages you to level up more!).
    5) Variety of weapons (with different strengths).
    6) More loot and items to decorate your ship with.
    7) More battles (or at least more difficult battles!, has anybody here ever lost a fight yet?).

    I'm sure there may be more but that's all I can think of for now.

    I do enjoy playing this game but I feel I am going to hit a brick wall with it soon. I have the largest ship possible, fully kitted out and I make more from collecting gift boxes than I do the missions. Basically the missions are not important and I see no purpose in levelling up any more!. The option to have more items, more powerful weapons (to fight friends with) and more items to decorate my ship would mean levelling up has a purpose.

    A great game though, and could be even greater with a couple of updates!.

    npc vs captains

    Call me a n:D:Db, but what's the advantage in using other captains instead of utilizing your in-game crew?

    A major thanks to kilroy7 for the masterlist and spamming other forums for us. i take your list and spread it too.

    mightly glad the dev reads our post and rossway questions are all replied to.

    fishmeister also consolidated our desires on a single list.

    to the dev : is it technical feasible to implement my ideas? the one about forming "guilds". a gang of pirates whom can "own" a particular area/part of the seas and gain experience/bonuses for performing quests in the area they own. (one map per guild). To offset the "Strongest" guild from hoarding any particular highlevel map, maybe highlevel maps are all 2m/15m quests, which discourage them from hoarding it. or the timings of quests changes everyweek, thus encouraging "invasions" to conquering another map.

    don't think there is, cept you can add someone you didnt like as your crew, sent them on a never returning quest and laugh at them sinking.

    Game Impressions

    I agree with fellcor,

    Guilds (or Fleets) would be nice.

    - If enough support was shown, a guild could have their own guild tab for helping starter members acquire better ships, equipment.

    - This would be another way in which an in-game chat channel could be utilized (other boards designated to individual sections/regions on the map, faq channel, maybe even a trade channel for people wanting to buy orget rid of old parts but not wanting to just dump them for minimal silver)

    - There is so much potential with this game and I would love to see it grow to the point that it could possibly turn into a player-run economy (much like EVE Online)

    PvP and the potential for (especially if guilds come someday) raids...oh...be still my beating heart...

    Capcom, IUGO...you have captured our imaginations, and we salute you!

    A pretty steep idea. I'll definitely mark that one down, but we'll need to meditate on that one a lot. It seems like we'd want to add a lot of other supporting features before guilds becomes very viable.

    Thanks for the suggestions! The Treasure Island sell all fix will definately be coming, and the other points you've made will be noted.

    Here's a nitpick.

    Shouldn't the enemy ship and your ship be swapped around in combat so your cannonballs are actually coming out of cannons you paid for?

    i do understand its very much game changing (most of my suggestions are on the brink of redesigning the whole game in terms of functionality) but imagine the activities in this forum/community, multiplied many folds inside the game. a reference would be an app called "pirate nation". it has an ingame forum very much like this one, and very much supports the guild idea. understand it is technically hard to add a whole new function(s) but if you guys can do it, this game will be one of the best to offer on the market.

    seeing the game is less than a month old and many games coming up on the app store, it is impt to differentiate from your competitors.
