Umm, by the way is there any way you could remodel the last 2 ship styles? i spent ages saving for the ghost ship style, and i didnt realise till i'd bought it that its a bit...flat....is there any way you can keep that style and make it rounder like the earlier ships, i just think they look better that way to be honest, maybe its just me though. Toast's response here was guessing as to the reason why Odin would not chose missions necessarily based on higher FP over higher amounts of silver. Toast, I can't believe it, but you're the first person to have said that, so while probably a lot of us knew it, no one before you has said it on this forum for others! In other words, if you are the biggest "saver" ever, and just sit there and collect your silver while stuffing it under your mattress for a rainy day, then DON'T! (Fellcor, I noticed your ship is pretty bare, so maybe you didn't know this..) Buying expensive items, like the 10,000-15,000 tables under Deck Misc., or the glass cased treasures between 14,000-36,000 under Deck Loot gives you crazy FP! Like up to 2,500 or 3,000 FP per purchase! I totally levelled up once by just buying stuff!! It's crazy!!! And then if you really don't want the stuff cluttering up your ship deck, then sell the items back (obviously for a crazy reduced price, but your FP doesn't get taken away, and what else are you really saving all that silver for anyway??). Easy fix Here's something that can get a little annoying when trying to place things around your ship, and will for sure be crazy easy to fix by the devs for the new update: ABILITY TO ROTATE THE ITEMS!! For some reason, when rotating a chair, or a table for example, you can only have it facing in two directions instead the four that should be possible (facing forward, backwards, left, or right). It's weird to even have a rotate button if it only changes it once, but that's what it currently is, so please fix it! What if you want a golf mat on your boat for example, but you're left handed!! The ball is on the wrong side of the grass without the ability to rotate it! Oh, the humanity of it all! It's just too sad to imagine really.. My heart goes out to all you leftys out there... More item ideas Another couple more ideas for the Devs (that is, if they're still reading this forum and taking suggestions). On top of the idea I had for a plank (interactive or not depending on how much work it will take. Forcing people to walk the plank would be awesome though), I think adding the category of Crow's Nests to the Parts section of the Ship would be cool. Right now, they're just part of the Masts, but I think it would be pretty bad ass if you could have different looking/different sized crow's nests, and actually send your Captain up there to have a look around through a telescope! Also, for the Figureheads, how is there not a beautiful lady of somesort as an option??!! That's like THE standard figurehead, so I absolutely cannot believe a rubber duck and a carrot made the cut, but not a mermaid/singing siren of some type. Finally, I know my posts are uber long, so probably not everyone reads them, but no one answered my question about SPECIAL OBJECTIVES??? Has anyone in the upper levels even had one? We've all had Basic ones (at the beginning) and Short & Long Term Objectives throughout, but I have yet to hear about any Special Objectives... Thanks, [email protected]
hm the dev team are a bit more quiet nowadays, anyway nice suggestions, but they are not game changing, just graphics. i don't think graphics have a hold on people opposed to new ways the game can be played. keep the ideas up though. erhm, we are all about the same levels, prob if you didnt hit special objectives, its not gonna appear anytime soon if you're lv 1x, if you're 2x then we are all as stumped as ya. It could be saved for special occasions/event the dev have in mind, not as bread and butter like the short/long term objectives. add me fellow pirates, [email protected]
Most of the questions asked recently have been answered by players/dev alike in previous posts, you gotta dig as repeating them for you guys is not going to cut it. depending on my schedule i may write an faq for it but most of the info can be found in-game too, thus my hestitation.
Sorry no post I was doing real life stuff lol yeah high dollar items level you and to the point of hoarding at low levels I think it's kind of dumb if you have a lot of friends I go from 40k silver to over 400k sometimes off of treasure alone and that takes less than two hours also il go from zero gold to 60-150 or more so why hoard at low levels to save for something that might be rare latter on when you can make gold so easily just my thoughts
Oh yeah and at any one point in time in the near future i doubt there will be anything costing Over 40 doubloons so yeah just a thought why save for a whole game when you could be having fun unless hoarding is your ultimate goal which is really no accomplishment since no one sees it any one can say I have 1000 doubloons and 10mil silver but not many can say there at the top or level 40+ just depends on what matters to you and how your motivated [email protected]

Thanks for all the good criticism, mate! We'll definitely be taking it into account as we continue to improve the game. It's actually like that for a technical reason. To put it succinctly, if we allowed things to rotate to a full 4 facings instead of just 2, it would take up double the memory for that part of the game, which means it may not run at all on older devices (and actually run poorly on new ones!). I'll bring it up to look into though. I can definitely see it as a concern, especially with things like chairs. Well, if you're golf mat has the ball on the wrong side for your handedness... just put it on the other side of your ship. Then it'll be on the side you want; problem solved! You must always buy the ship sizes in order, so you'll never be able to skip a given ship size objective (but that also means you'll get all the rewards for them as you go).
Plank is definitely a cool idea, and different crows nests is also interesting. They're definate departures from the current kinds of items we have, so it would take more R&D time to make it work, but I can certainly add it to the (ever-increasing) stuff-we-should-look-into list. Good point. There's been a lot of people looking for more parts items, so it's something we definitely are going to investigate. No-one has run into special objectives yet, that's why! You'll see them pop up eventually... (Also, no worries, I do thoroughly read every post, so at least one set of eyes will read your comments.) ***** And to everyone playing, thanks for your support and criticism! Ok so I am close to getting the frigate size ship. and I got most of the nice themes and other good stuff. But I'm wondering if there will be anything to look forward to at higher levels? Like bosses/items we can gain from jobs.. more themes and other goodies. [email protected]
