well yeah but there's a difference between grinding for silver and being herded towards the gold option xD I mean, the prices go from 100,000 or so, straight up to 1 million and stays there till the end, if it progressed upwards and peaked at 1 million i'd understand but it just seems al ittle odd having all 4 of the top ships costing the exact same amount. [email protected]
i differ. As per what i mentioned, silver is to be farmed and made a tough but possible option to buy the final ship. 120days is the amount you calculated. Every 2 days you spent like 10 minutes? removing downtime and resending your crew to the 2d mission. Have you any idea how competitive/committed the guys are playing? Doing 4/6h missions, rechecking every 30m for gifts and bonus chests, honestly i get more out of chests from my missions, i paid 0 for gold and bought everything using silver. The silver at a certain point in time is for customizing your ship. i would suggest keeping EVERYTHING purchasable by silver using only silver keeping your gold. its common tactics for developers to release season-only items (coming xmas) which are featured items purchased using only gold. THATS where you should be spending gold if you are a perfectionist.
i know what you're saying. however it maybe the initial ships are already discounted. They can be all slapped with a 300k increase to make it seem a logical price progression, or remain as such to herd people into buying gold. i am at a lowly lv 1x, and i already have gold to buy all four upgrades at once (which is contrary to my own advice). I spent 0 on gold. Its very possible to get all your gold needs from bonus chests or by completing objectives. add me fellow pirates @ [email protected]
I managed to save up 60 doubloons in 2 days and bought the two largest ships as well. The biggest temptation was to spend the gold on 2day/3day jobs to level up and catch up to the 30+ ships. [email protected]
First mate, quartermaster, salin' master, appraiser? Hey guys, just wondering how the promotions work? 1) What does the player get if he's promoted to a rank? (e.g. first mate) 2) Does your rank reset each day? 3) Do I get anything if I promote a fellow pirate? Oh and thanks toast7 I've updated my software version. Btw, what's your cap'n name? You're my first mate. [email protected]
So far I can only see who I assigned a rank to. Maybe there should be way we can find out for ourselves who assigned me a rank? Also, waking up to 200+ updates on my chest is all good, but most of the surplus giveaways turn out to be taken already. I think there should be a better way to skip these cos it's a waste of my time. add me guys, [email protected]
I recently had to delete lil pirates and reinstall... it made me start a new game and i think i may have lost my regular account. I didnt do anything to tie the account to an email, but people can add me using my email. I tried logging in using that email but i didnt have a password set that i could use... is there anyway anyone knows of that i can get my account back?
if you click on the promote button and click the i it will tell you what each does. You can only assign one of each title, if you assign first mate twice for example, it will remove it from your first friend. Titles do not reset First mate gives a small chance to get 25% more FP from a job QuarterMaster gives a small chance to get 25% more Silver from a job Sailing Master gives a small chance to get an extra treasure from a job Appraiser increase the price of treasures by a ridiculous amount (about 2%) Title do stacks but cannot occur at the same time. i.e. if you have two people giving your a First Mate title you will never get 50% extra FP from a job but you will get it more often. When you complete a job you will see something along the line of: +23 FP because Rackam set you as his first mate. And no, you don't get anything for giving the title. But you can obviously work with some to get the title returned. add me: [email protected]
I don't get the purpose of your post... I don't spend 10 minutes every two days on this game. I just said that collecting up to a million silver is not a realistic challenge. The rewards for missions are roughly equivalent so whether your crew are going on 6hr jobs, or 2 day jobs, it works out to pretty much the same thing silver-wise (6hr Sell Liberated Supplies=310 silver, and 2 day Raid Fishers=2535 silver. The six hour one multiplied by 8 (which equals 2days) is 2480 silver, ya see?). Obviously I (and everyone else) get more from the chests than the regular missions, but I'm just saying, someone who isn't on this forum adding every single e-mail they see, won't ever be able to obtain a million silver by just doing jobs. It's an unrealistic figure that would discourage anyone who doesn't have a couple hundred "friends" (does anyone here have a "friend" that they actually even know in person? I don't anyway...). And yeah, I already said that silver eventually becomes just a currency for prettying up your ship/crew, cuz once you hit a certain level, it becomes useless/not possible in terms of completing goals (i.e. leveling up a ship that costs 1M silver!). Again, if you want full out proof, just look at what Odin said. The guy's gonna be cracking Level 40 in a day or two! That's a lot of opened chests, completed missions, and what not, and even he says that he's never had close to 999,999 silver. If even he hasn't, than how can anyone else possibly reach that insane number...? Add me: [email protected]
I know, ive been playing a few days and im 5 gold from the final ship, it just seems that it would have a better flow if the silver grew to the 1 million mark, even if it gre quickly. Cause i have managed to pay for a couple ships through silver, saving gold for the last few, but the huge leap up to a million just makes it a bit too obvious that people have no choice but to use gold...seems it wouldn't seems so....i dont know...comercial? If the silver rose at a steadier rate, it'd still be way out of the price range of anyone playing, ive almost got all the ships and im only up to 200k silver without spending any really, lol. (Note: I havnt paid for any gold yet either, the gold system works well but it seems to make silver a bit redundant?) [email protected] Edit: Oh, also the gift system doesnt seem to be working? Is this a system problem on my end or is something just being updated somewhere?
Shit I started a new game cuz I did not know that gold were hard to earn so I spent it on quick finnishes n stuff. But now I cant connect to eather facebook or my e-mail account since its locked to my previous game. Anybody got a clue on how to fix?
If nothing works, you could always just create a new e-mail address that you only use for this game. It's not like we, the players, get updates or news from Capcom or anything, so you would never actually have to check that account, but it's an easy way to keep on playing! Something like lil'pirates@gmail or hotmail.com. By the way, an idea I had for an item that should be MUST!!! The new update HAS TO HAVE A PLANK!!! I doubt it would be possible to make any of your crew "walk the plank", but it would still be awesome to have it on my ship... [email protected]
