Is there any chance you can lower the prices of the final few ships to something realistic? Cause right now theres literally no way someone can raise that much money, theres really no other option than using gold, makes the option of using silver a bit redundant when the price is so high. [email protected]
They want it that way so that you have to buy the doubloons which in turn supports this game 999999 silver was no accident lol I get over 50-100 doubloons aday free just get more friends!
You can't have more then 1 friend per title. If you assigned quartermaster to felcor Odin is no longer your QM. As to felcor I'm guessing people don't want to trade because it is hard to tell if you are selected it happens randomly on missions. I do have 3 titles available though I don't have the one that give extra money when you complete mission. If you haven't, add me: [email protected]
Which chest do you pick. One of the dev mentionned that each chest had different odds for each items. By far, the best item is the doublon its value reaching 33k because of the 1M ship. The second one is the XP and finally the 400 silver is the least useful. I've noticed that the middle chest seems to give about one third of each. Any other input on the other two? --- add me: [email protected]
Has anything been said yet on what will be coming in the next update? For one thing, I'd really like to be able to name my ship as well as my captain. Add me: [email protected]
They don't quite stack, but each title after the first gives you a slightly better chance of the effect occurring (or in the case of Appraiser, gives you slightly more for each treasure item sold). Yeah, that's right. Once you get past 50, that sync error occurs, so you should probably just ignore them for a bit. We're working on a fix for that as we speak. Well, not quite. You can very easily get that much silver, it just takes a while. Also, higher level Cap'ns will be earning more silver then their lower level buddies (as you might know...).
Does anyone else think some of the objective rewards are humorously disproportionate to the effort involved? "You truly are becoming a seasoned veteran of the sea, captain, braving the fickle and unpredictable elements in order to complete fifty tasks. For your daring exploits allow me to award you... these five rootbeers. No no, captain Hutz, you deserve them. Don't drink them all in one place!" [email protected]
I've been picking the smallest box all day yesterday and would say I got 30% doubloons, 50% FP and 20% gold out of 100+ chests. [email protected]
I prefer the left chest, feels like it gives a lot of exp and doublons. The right one tends to give me a lot of coins. Just my two cents though
It's all about the doubloons.. I think someone who works on the game said that 999,999 silver is actually very obtainable, but just takes time?? Seriously?? Talk about bs... The most expensive paying "Job" I currently have takes 2 days (Raid Fishers) and pays 2,500 silver. I also have seven crew members. Do you know how long it would take me to get 1M silver using jobs?? 120 DAYS!!! 4 months of sending my seven guys every 2 days on the most expensive paying job... That's messed up... (obvioulsy it would take less time with treasure selling and chests that give 400 silver, but you see my point). Odin was totally right that putting those ridiculous prices is just an incentive to buy gold, (though like he also said, it's not necessary if you have a billion friends!). Someone also said that when you look at it that way, one single doubloon is worth 33,333 silver!! That's a crazy number when you think that trading one gold gets you 2,000... Bottom line, doubloons are where it's at, and at a certain point in this game, silver becomes useless when your main goal becomes upgrading your ship size. All you can do with silver after around Level 13 is make things look pretty... Add me: [email protected]
I'm level 34 almost 35 and I can say iv never had 999999 silver at one point in time so that is complete bs because you would pretty much need 4-6mil to get the biggest ship using silver alone yeah it's easy it just takes a life time lol anyways just my view on it and yes as you level up u get more silver but nothing game changing idk what sparton is talking about but hey it's their game I just play it
Oh yeah a side note I can see when everyone is at level cap and the only fun to do is stack up doubloons and silver then yes 1mil is a reasonable increase cost of silver but most folks are not that close so until then people spend that cash like there's no tomorrow lol
quartermaster taken by xxx. (side note to ryuni - what is your ship name?) First mate taken by ozzy. You cant name myself and odin both quartermaster, the latest appointment will overwrite the previous appointment. do keep me updated on your ship name and if you want odin or myself to be your quartermaster. Pls confirm if you intend to offer the title to me or odin (by selecting the person you want, giving him the Quartermaster title and DO NOT give the title to anyone else in the future) anyone else want to trade the other 2 titles? [email protected]
you are NOT supposed to purchase the final ship within what a few days? of the release of the game, else where is the longevity in it? its made deliberately hard to make us grind for silver, or make people pay for gold. add me fellow pirates @ [email protected]
thank you for the update. i also noticed ryunii mistake, but heck i simply gotta trust what you people tell me. once a title is given, i will not change it and there is no opportunity it will be given away as i keep my word. add me fellow pirates @ [email protected]
just do an excel spreadsheet tracking your openings on all 3 chest. you would find the numbers side towards a certain reward for any particular chests, thus making it easier to strategize what you want at the point in time. Example : you need 200 FP to level, your crew is on board, if you had a bonus chest unopened, a 200 FP bonus would unlock the next level quest, which may be better than if you had no choice and sent the crew on a worst off mission. or maybe you need a few more silvers to buy the next ship (which may give different rewards as a fulfillment to long term objectives). but i generally agree gold is more rare, and more useful. add me fellow pirates @ [email protected]
