objective after getting the 50 jobs... spend 10k silver and 5 doubloons... then 70jobs.. anyone knows what your short term objective after that? Thanks
Is there anyone else than me having problems helping out their friends crew members? I used to see them on my map all the time but for the last 24h or so I haven't seen a single one.
Are there any future plans for a more interactive set up with your friends? Like being able to view their crew line up even if they're on jobs or maybe games to be played between captains? Explicit gifting perhaps? Or maybe even a mailing system? I know that's a mouthful of a request, I just enjoy the game a good deal and wouldn't mind seeing more interaction among my fleet xP ([email protected])
Bug with helping friends!? same for me.... seems to be a bug. I have 70+ friends and no asking for assistance in the last 24 hours or so.
EDIT: In an effort to stave off more server troubles, we've currently disabled the ability to help friends' crew members who are on jobs. We're looking at reworking the feature to be more efficient. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This game got a bum rap on the front page. The reviewer said that it costs gold to travel which is wrong. They made it seem like you need to buy gold to play when you clearly do not.
I'm in the exact same situation. This has been the case since midday yesterday, and I've been pretty disappointed in not being able to play. Not with the developers, just disappointed. I got another user to sign up just so I could upgrade my ship, and she's surpassed my level now even though she said she wasn't going to play at all. So, I'm really looking forward to that fix.
Good question.. I would also like to know more about the gift notifications.. What if I don't even want a Ruined Sea Chart? It gets annoying having to click that I want it, and have a message tell me that "I'm too late and have to be quicker" when I don't want it in the first place! At the same time, I need to get rid of that so-called "gift" (worth only like 10 or 15 silver) so that it's not crowding up the gifts I'm actually interested in.. I'll compare it to e-mail. Having to click the numerous Sea Charts and Stone Rings is like having to delete spam! I prefer to have a nicely managed inbox so that I actually know when I have a new message that matters, instead of logging in and always seeing that I have 567 unread messages! hey there... i was hoping to find out on how to complete the task "Farmer Digger" it says to Have 10 treasures buried overnight. and the description says Ye must have the right amount of treasures buried at midnight.. on midnight my time or on PST? or is it i just plant the treasures for a full day?
I went to treasure island a few minutes after midnight EST, about 4 hours after I buried it all, and completed the quest. I'm not sure if it's based on the time my iPhones set or if the server is based in the east coast.
It's midnight PST (which could be midday for you, depending on where you live...). And as rawksaltyeah mentioned, you also need to go to Treasure Island to check on the treasures to actually earn the objective. Try that if you've buried them for a day but haven't earned it yet.
Hmm, then you should really change that objective! This game is released worldwide. How should the gamer know that you are referring to midnight PST??? Maybe it's a good idea to look beyond the rim of one's teacup !
the timing is tied to the game server, its much easier maintaining one single timing than multiples. add me [email protected] fellow pirates!
