Um I'm only level 16 and have already deleted the game, so not sure why my name is on there. All my resources comes from the 287 friends on my list. Also, Odin is innocent, but for some of the rest of the list, yes I believe they have taken advantage of the glitch that went on this afternoon, allowing them to level nearly 10 times. Making something like this your first post without any knowledge of anything makes you very unwelcome. For your information in any case, there is no user agreement for either the game, and most definitely not Toucharcade that says anything about cheating. Please refrain from being a complete retard in the future.
I should be doing other things... This game has got me hooked! Not only have I never played a game like this before, but I've also never looked one up on Google, created a random account, and posted anything on a game forum like this before! What's wrong with me? I'm a full time student doing my doctorate, and I can't get enough of Lil' Pirates??!! This makes no sense! The only way to keep me from checking back in on the game every few minutes is by sending my crew on long missions that take one or two days.. and even then, you can always do a ship battle every two hours, so there's always a reason to check back (and your upgraded treasure)!!! I didn't want to invite any of my friends on fb to join (cuz it's kind of like spam.. I avoided games like Farmville and hated the way that game was all over my newsfeed. I read in this forum that Lil' Pirates doesn't go on people's home feeds, but I still won't "upgrade" my account to fb.. maybe I'm just embarrassed...) So anyway, I really don't want to spend real money on doubloons, but even after completing the short term quest of doing 50 jobs, I didn't get any new doubloons, and I needed four to upgrade my ship (and I had spent all my initial ones earlier on before I realized how precious they are). That brought me here in search of random e-mail accounts to add, and I can't believe how many there are! Way easier to just have a couple friends and buy the upgrade with silver! So now there's a whole other part to this game that I didn't know about, and I have some questions about it: Once you're friends with someone, what new things can you do? What happens if you promote someone to Firstmate? Quatermaster? Sailin'Master? Appraiser? Can they steal your treasure? How do you even see or go onto someone's treasure island? All I've been able to do is visit someone's ship... Finally I also read on this forum that someone was asking about the Rock, Paper, Scissors (or ScisAAARRRSS, or whatever), and the responses were useless. There are totally movements that your crew does while the game is waiting for you to make your choice, that tells you exactly what they will do! It's not a back and forth thing with the computer at all, and it is very easy to win 3 in a row no problem. For example, shaking their entire body means they will play Paper.. Swinging the right arm means one thing, and swinging the left arm means something else. I can tell you the rest if you want, or message me for the answers. I think the devs idea behind the treasure bury system is like this: to add real friends that you really know. The incentive behind it is so that your fleet is filled with friends that you trust won't steal your treasure. By doing that, you're able to farm more at once and get more items On the other hand if you fill your fleet with random people like what we're doing now, stealing is sure to happen and that would result in all your treasure you've farmed to disappear. So which will it be? Fill in random friends to your fleet and reap better benefits in gifts or fill in only the ones you know and trust and benefit from farming? Just my opinion.
@ thefletch ummm before the glitch came into being I was one of the highest levels and after the glitch there are ppl that were 5 levels below me higher then me now how did I benefit from this glitch lol anyways like back to this said your an idiot and should probally not be posting about how ppl are exploiting/cheating when it's somthing the game did by itself you seem like the kind of person in real life that looks at what other people have and say they must have got it by ilbegotten means while you prolly still living with your parents or on your friends couch wishing you had what others had without actually working for it that is all Ps **** you Ps if your under 18 disregard this message
I'm sorry but who seriously makes a list of ppl to ban just because there doing better everyone had the chance to benefit from the glitch stop crying and level up or shut up
@thefletch I (Luffy) went from 15-17 in a day, not sure where you get off accusing me of using a glitch. The Devs can also check to see how many legitimate doubloons I've bought. Don't start hating on people because I'm level 17...
Apparently for an hour or so people were getting treasures constantly reloading themselves, so everyone that abused it got a ton of silver/FP/gold etc...
I don't understand how it was abused i think 9.99 for 65 virtual currency is abuse I think that all the free doubloons was a good thing for the gaming community but not the developer
