For all newbies who want advice go to: http://www.supercheats.com/iphoneipad/walkthroughs/lil-walkthrough01.txt #3- My contribution for newbies: I'm still in the rather early levels myself (17) and with the addition of the Trophy option, I figured out that certain types of jobs yield certain types of treasure. Hopefully this helps someone out there. Again, I'm only on level 17 so I haven't figured it out for all areas/levels but here's up to 17 **Note: Usually jobs less than 4 hours do not yield treasure in addition to FP/XP and Silver. So, I'm not including them below. The ones that do yield treasure in addition to XP USUALLY (But not always) yield the same treasure or same types of treasure. These come in handy when you want to complete a trophy and need more treasure items: (PS. Please excuse the names of the lands. I didn't know the official titles so I made them up based on theme.) *Note: / means "and/or" Hometown Area/Level 1: - Ambush Scurvy Dogs 2H Map - Host a Pirate Party 8H Malachite/Repair Kit/Pearl/Sometimes None - Brawl Rabid Dolphins 16H Malachite/Charm/Map - Get Some Drinks 1D None (so far...surprised about this.... someone let me know if you get one) ICELAND/CHRISTMAS AREA - Collect Bonbon Ingd. 4H Nutcracker/No Present - Escort Carol Singers 12H Red Ornament - Deliver Presents 1D Nutcracker/Snow Globe/Red Ornament BROWN LAND/5 FINGER/BIRD - Amass Delicious Grub 4H Turkey/Cornucopia - Defeat Gobblemonster 20H Turkey/Cornucopia/ Sometimes Nothing HEART LAND - Dish out Bonbons 8H Bronze Rose/Arrow TURTLE BAY - Adopt a monkey 3H None - Sell Liberated Supplies 6H None - Conck Crazed Croc 12H None - Catch Fish from Reef 20H Pearl/Brooch - Raid Fisheries 2D Pearl/Brooch/Ring EGYPT COAST -Tussel w/ Pirates 4H None - Defy Local Authority 16H Ring/Charm - Guard Vassal Schooner 1D Onyx/Painting/Statue - Swipe Saffron 10H Tiger's Eye/Onyx Battle this area's Ship Onyx/Necklace Again, since developing the theory, I've re-visited most of the jobs above several times and MOST of them yield the same presents or same combination of presents. Only a few times have I done a long job (16H) and not received a present from it. FYI- it doesn't look like using Doubloons to finish the job quickly makes a difference on whether or not you get the treasure. I wouldn't recommend it though... save those things ---- On that note... any one know what job yields the Bust? I need some and I cant figure it out.
