The simple one finger control makes it easy for anybody to pick up and play, but it's also challenging without being frustrating. This game has three awesome game modes. ◊Bit Bit Mode: This is the main mode of the game. There are three difficulties-Easy, Medium, and Insane. Your ship loses a little bit of health every second and also when you collect the wrong color bit. You must collect bits that match the color of your ship to add to your health and score. Your ship randomly changes color and each ship has its own personal chiptune music theme. There are also power-ups that randomly appear. There is a Gamecenter leaderboard for each difficulty. ◊Obstacle Mode: Your goal in this mode is to reach the finish line. Each level has 3 stars that can be collected if you want to challenge yourself. Watch out for the cosmic blocks, they do massive damage. ◊One Bit Mode: This mode is locked until you meet or surpass 50,000 points in Bit Bit Mode. One Bit Mode has the same concept as Bit Bit Mode, except there's only one difficulty…….Brutal. Your ship changes color every time you get the correct color bit, but if you get the wrong color bit…..it's gameover…….until you press restart. 3 awesome game modes! Neon! Fast gameplay! Simple controls! Sharp graphics! Retro! Challenging! Space! Bits! Bit bits! Bit bit bits! Colors! Exciting! Arcade! Power-ups! Obstacles! Game Center! Leaderboards! Achievements! Personal high scores! Endless fun! Huge particle effects! Minimalistic retro sound fx! Awesome chiptune music! Combos! Oh my! When the ship changes color, the game changes, and the music! 8-Bit Avrin Apps Information Seller:Avrin Ross Genre:Action, Arcade, Racing Release:Jan 29, 2012 Updated:Nov 08, 2021 Version:2.0.1 Size:21.2 MB TouchArcade Rating:Unrated User Rating: (3) Your Rating:unrated Compatibility:HD Universal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0XzCoTb1AY&feature=share&list=UU8AO0MVt--eksSZwqBmVr0Q syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #2 syntheticvoid, Aug 29, 2012 game is in DESPERATE need of RELATIVE TOUCH CONTROL. Without it, you can't see what color your ship is, making gameplay impossible, and just plain frustrating. 8-Bit Avrin Member May 10, 2012 24 0 0 #3 8-Bit Avrin, Aug 29, 2012 Last edited: Aug 29, 2012 Ahhh relative touch. I went back and forth with the idea of making that the main control function in the game but I decided on leaving it out. My thought/idea was leaving it out added a memorization element to the game. For example, when the ship changes the particles explode with the new color and the music changes to the ships specific "theme song" My thought was that the player would have to remember which color the ship was from the explosion and/or music each time the ship changed....and also from noticing which bits were helping/exploding when collected. It may have become too easily embedded in my head though since I made the music and heard it hundreds of times so I knew automatically what ship I was when it changed based purely off of the music. Also since I played/tested it so much my mind was trained to pay attention to the color of the bits exploding and the trail behind the ship. However, I think it might be a good idea to add relative touch as an option in the settings. Some people are for it and some are against it. If I get time I may add it in a future update. *Sorry for the long post, it's actually a partially copied response to another player/developer who had a slight issue with the controls, but otherwise enjoyed the game and look of it. However, thank you for your comment. Sorry the game was frustrating for you. I don't think it makes gameplay impossible, but I understand this game isn't for everyone.
