It's fine, I re-wrote it (for the third time) and just sent it off. I'll just make sure to save it every so often from now on - or would you prefer it if I emailed feedback to you instead?
Sent my first feedback via email. Sorry it's so late. Will send more feedback as I get deeper into the game, which I'm having a blast with
Thank you Trev1 for the feedback we got all of them. And the achievement + keyboard bug only happen on iOS 5+, we'll try to fix it by the next build. Thank you @Bark bits Can you PM me your email or name that you registered on testflight. I'm not quite sure which one is yours. Thank you.
I didn't even see the email address! /facepalm That'll be a lot easier. Sorry if my feedback was somewhat sporadic, but I'm juggling a ton of things. So, I was multitasking when I wrote it. I hope you got a some decent ideas about movement from the video I sent you. Something tells me the movement thing is my own singular, personal gripe! I still think a tilt control would be awesome. What I've come acroos from playing iOS games is that a lot of games that don't need tilt have tilt, and a lot of games that could use tilt to it's benefit don't.
Thank you jumpman, but we seems to only get the top portion of the email which is about 5 hours ago. ....I have played for a while today and noticed a few things: Then it got cut off. Can you resend that email. Thank you.
The movement itself. I mean it's good how it is, but I'm the type of person that likes a huge amount of fluidity and open ranged movement (meaning the turn around rate isn't quick enough at all for me). Especially when dealing with combat. This is why I freaked out at MC3 for having such tight controls, it drove me nuts. Also, when I look at it from a casual perspective looser controls (for movement) might appeal to a broader variety. This does seem to be a casual game for the most part. I tend to let my family which consists of multiple generations have a go at games I'm testing and they tend to like easier control set. I would prefer Glowfish movement or tilt controls, in all honesty. But yeah, the controls as is are fine. It's just me and my possible oddities. lol IDK I like loose movements and tight aim, if that makes sense Edit Just read over what I wrote and boy I rambled. Too much stuff to do! Ahhh This is gonna be just like Wind Up Knights. So far I'm the only person that has expressed complete disdain for the shield on the left side.
Well that's strange, coz I thought the movement was awesome - and I have no problems with combat, as my highscore shows. I guess if you have a problem, at least one other person will too - but that one person isn't me. I think the point of the movement is if it was faster, you wouldn't be able to whip your tentacles around fluidly, and it would get in the way.
Like I edited above, it's gonna be Wind Up Knights all over again. lol I see what you're saying about the tentacle thing, but I'd rather use speed and agility then be forced into always using my tentacles for sticky situations. Like you said everyone is different! This is why I always recommend different schemes, sensitivities, and possibly difficulties. But you never really know what resources the dev has when you make suggestions.
Was using in-game feedback button but composing an e-mail now. As is it is generally a classy polished game.
