TBH, the hive was my favorite part of the game! I just didn't understand how to get there. I really hope you guys focus some attention on expanding it!

    Woot, YUSS!!

And bring on the competition, I will rise above!

Speaking of which, you mentioned including a joystick we can trial... Do you want feedback on that specifically, or not at this stage?

Hey guys... Did you add more enemies? I'm sure I'm seeing a lot more than before... A lot more hearts too though.

I'm almost afraid to ask, but... Do you have a time of how long I spent in the game?

Edit: also, please add true multitasking... Just now I exited the game to write this and everything was reset..

About the enemy, I'm not quite sure. I have to ask the designer about that.

You should be able to see your play time in the statistic page on the main menu. If your data is still intact that is.

Thanks :) I'll make sure the team hears about it

    Edit.
    @bem69
Zone 14?? Nice. Was the balancing made the game too easy? We would love to hear any feedback you have.

Ok, I tried the new update, and I got that whopper of a score. The balancing? Well in one zone, for the first time ever, I ran out of bulbies to rescue in one zone. I couldn't do anything about it, so I had to end my game, with 4 lives left. Is it instant death if you are out of bulbies?

Control-wise, the stick is welcomed, but at the moment, its not nearly as responsive as touch/drag controls, I'm starting to get the hang of it. Balancing? It wasn't too easy, it was still as tough as it ever was (at least I didn't notice it). I guess it comes down to luck when avoiding multiple monsters.

By the way, I'm hooked to the game. Awesome, addictive game, good work dev. Still can't play on my iPhone though, says the dev did not allow it?

Edit: Dang! One more zone to 15!

Bem69, your score is strangely low for getting zone 14... Assuming my statistics carried over, my high score (500,000) I got by zone 8.

    What's your playing strategy?

    @appxplore
I don't feel the game was made any easier... The main differences I found was that zone 1 no longer has a boss and I found more hearts around.

Beyond that, I only noticed things that made it harder - more enemies and I now encounter enemies just as I enter a zone - never happened before.

Oh, I have a suggestion I never mentioned in feedback:
Is it possible for a heart collected at full health to provide a shield instead?

Daaaang. I'm nearing 24 hours played... And that's including 3 days away from my phone. o_O

4th batch of feedback sent in.

The virtual pad doesn't work as well as I expected, but it is still nice.
I would still like to see tilt added in though. Thanks a bunch Appxplore!

    Thanks for the feedback :)
Also, we can only have 1 device per person. And we choose which devices depending on what we needed the most if the player have more then 1 device.
Apple only give us the ability to register very limited devices :/

The game wasn't really made easier IMO. It's pretty much the same like echoseven said. I still tend to fight a lot more than getting to new zones because I'm running out of bulbies a ton. Iteems as if ppl aren't playing a lot or the game is in fact quite difficult based on scores. The highes zone I've made it to was 5 and I'm currently #9 on the leaderboards.

As far as the joystick, it doesn't fit the the game's style at all IMO. So, maybe that's why ppl are having a problem with it. Here's how I play: Tap to go in a direction and move my hand away from the screen so i can see. If there are a bunch of bulbies I'll drag to collect them all in one motion. If there are enemies I'll do a quick circle with my finger. I'm getting better, but I'm still not officialy gung ho on the movement of the lightopus, but the original controls are great.

The only thing about the joystick I like is that turning around was a bit more fluid for me, but I still use the original controls.

Tilt controls would compliment this game more than a virtual joystick IMO.

@Echoseven I usually fight just to get stars, sometimes i stay longer in a zone to go for bulbies. Of course, I can't beat your 500k at zone 8 since I don't get to play as much as you do, since I'm on the iPad. To the dev, I like the risk and reward syste, the deeper you go the better the points. This will be great on the iPhone :) I'll definitely purchase this :D

Finally got to zone 15. And died there as well. :/

The game wasn't tweaked much with the balancing update. As soon as you enter a zone, you're bombarded with enemies which really frustrates considering you don't have enough time to collect enough bulbies. Plus, the random bosses are too difficult.

I have had a problem when I've got 40 or so bulbies, and I'm searching for stars when the boss pops up and kills nearly all of them. Then when I try and get more to exit the zone, there aren't eggs/glowing orbs left to get out.

The virtual pad wasn't what was expected: it's too small, and it needs a fixed position rather than being able to move around.

If you're a casual gamer, then attempting to collect eight stars from each colored zone to reach the hive is way too difficult. I would add a hardcore and casual mode. And it gets boring really fast, you're trying to collect stars and you're doing to same thing over and over in order to do so.

    Just my two cents

Oh, and did you guys get my previous feedback?

Just made it to the hive, wonderful layout! The additional premise of breaking the eggs looked absolutely great and the vibrant colors used for the body of the monster looked perfect. How will you all know that I made it? Should I post screenshots or something?

Yes, we got your feedback thanks. The "enter zone -> getting bombard" is being fixed. About the hive, we didn't get your data. Please get the new version, kill the app, make sure you're connected to the internet and start the game. Thanks.
