I am also having the gem issue.. After every fight it says I have xx gems but when I check it's zero.

Had just started the game, but after hearing of the gem issue, I guess I'll need to just wait and restart after the update. Assuming that it won't retroactively add gems.
Very sorry to have to say this, but this game is frought with bugs and glitches. Devs offering $5 premium games are failing just as u are. I mean wtf, has this game undergone zero testing. I'm frozen at first boss, mini games to accomplish attacks/blocks couldn't be more vague, I have 2 health potions equipped and I use one and both are gone?, gem accruing issues. It all adds up to a diluted weak failure release. This is your rep at stake and I can always get a refund. As it stands this game is weak and lame. Hope these issues are addressed, obviously it was far beyond your capacity to figure all this out prerelease. With this lack of quality testing, you show no pride or care for your asset. Ashamed, you should be of the product and your team. Just my opinion, I only call it as it is...
I haven't touched it since the gem issue was brought up, but this is really sad to read. Already still reeling from the Zodiac fiasco and now another game that is riddled with bugs. I hope they can fix things quickly because this game does have a unique feel to it and it could be really great.

while i appreciate the developer effort in submitting a quick update, i trully disappointed by this release. it took them almost a year for the next chapters to complete and yet chapter 1 still riddle with tons of bugs, random crash, and stuck on loading screen. not to mention the slide animation between page is not a butter smooth on my 6s plus, there is still a noticeable lag. the game itself is fun and great, but after playing the chapter 1, i didnt see any significant changes in gameplay mechanism. i expect more special power, more tactics on the next chapter. ill play the next chapter after the update landed on the appstore. also, i think the tutorial should be more polished and clear.
Thanks to the developers for communicating with us and fixing things quickly. I hadn't had any crashes yet, but had wondered about the gems. Will everyone need to start over to get those gems? Are you considering modifying the saving system? I found myself not playing because I wasn't sure if could play for enough to time to get to the next save point.
At least thanks for the effort. Was there no beta testing that so many issues have gone by unnoticed? I've even forgotten a glitch yesterday: After the decision to attack the monster or save Tlob you get rewarded with a skill, depending on your decision. Weird thing about this is that only one decision rewarded me with a new skill (Protect), by choosing the other way I got a skill I'd already possessed since the beginning (Weak Spot). (had to restart due to a crash so I tried both ways) I suppose I wasn't meant to have the latter skill yet in the first place - Why else would the game make a big deal about having learnt a "new" one when it already has been in my arsenal? A little later in the game the main char "learns" the Light Sword skill before fighting the first Shadow Monsters. But I've also had this one since the beginning! Judging from the events in the game shouldn't both skills rather be earned later on? Lastly, also for this first Shadow Monsters encounter I suddenly had the Cleave skill. But only for this one fight - After It was over Cleave got replaced by a second Light Sword - Ergo I uselessly had the same skill twice now. Yeah I know, submit bugs to the link you included. I rather wait for the update though and look if/which bugs are still going to prevail. For now there are just too many and you seem to know about the majority of them already anyway. Just hoping for the best that most of them are going to get sorted out with the impending update.
Not very sure how that's the conclusion you've arrived at but to each his own. It's one dimensional and repetitious and I've only played a single mission. I have very low hopes that gameplay opens up and isn't limited to a few spells via timed tap the circle, slide the arrow. Trusting myself, I'm all but certain that's the depth of gameplay. But don't let my realistic and smug interpretation stop anyone from purchasing, it's rlly worth $5, rlly. #
Well because I'm not looking for final fantasy or chaos ring or any other in depth rpg I have a ps4 for that. This is a comic game book though, so I'm more expecting nice artwork and a reasonable story. Also I'm only looking for a little something before bed and on the move hence looking at mobile games. If I wanted something awesome i would replay transistor.
