That is such a great film. I'm disappointed that they felt it necessary to do the obligatory American remake so soon, but it doesn't look all that bad. They picked a couple great up-and-coming actors to portray the kids
Ask a Swede what they think of the film and they'll probably tell you the kid is annoying. Apparently neither of them can act at all, but it's the sort of thing you don't notice unless you speak the language.
Saw the American Version. I am pissed. It looks nothing like the original. Hollywood has to always mess up remakes.
I think the boy & girl in the movie are so cute together. I mean it's just good chemistry when it comes to friendships. Although I am almost done with the book.
It's hollywood, what else do you expect? I do have to agree that this was a great original movie and it got screwed over with the remake.
Great movie I must say, travelled far to see it in the cinema. The US remake does hold some hope from the trailer, good move casting Hit Girl as the little Vamp.
