Right now I'd LOVE an 11 day review. The volume must have picked up, because I'm sitting at 11 days to 'In Review' and another 11 to date. No response to my queries at all.
We just completed day 3 of "Waiting For Review" for our first binary submission. I've been stalking the "App Store Wait" thread and most people in July are reporting 11-12 days until they go "In Review". I still wonder if people are providing number of days with weekends included or not, because that makes a big difference. What's whack is that there have been a couple of posts where people have said that they've only waited for "Wait for Review" status for just 3-4 days - and this was for July 2012! I don't know if they were trollin or what... What's really whack with Apple right now is that there are several posts from Developers who's apps were released in the App Store in the last 3 business days not having their apps show up in the store rankings. All these devs reported that they had enough downloads to be in certain top rankings, but weren't seeing their apps anywhere at all. Madness baby... DP
Thanks for the links! It seems like the standard wait now is around 11 days to even change status (up from the normal 7). Really frustrating to have zero communication on the 'extended review' once the status changes.
Date submitted: July 12th Date approved: July 24th This was for a very minor update to a game that's been in the store for over a year.
Date submitted: July 23rd Date approved: July 26th A great surprise! And it's not even my birthday! Though, we had a few returns. The update fixed a crash on startup. Perhaps that is the reason why it was fast-tracked?
It's amazing how inconsistent this is right now. We have a non-game app that has been waiting for review for 13 days now. No end in sight. __________________ Cricket Words by Think Tap Work
Apparently Apple is reading these forums because about an hour after I posted it went into review and is now available in the App Store. So put me down for 13 days. __________________ Cricket Words by Think Tap Work
caveman 1.1 (normal + HD) took 3 days to get accepted; i submitted the lite versions the same day... still waiting
We had a 10 day wait for review of one of our apps. The app was rejected due to an error. we fixed the error and we are now at 9 days. sloooooow days at the review center.
Does seem like the review times have plummeted lately. I've heard reports from several people of 2 week review times
It took only 7 days for our game PandaBoy: Challenge Accepted! Our next challenge is to create a buzz before the release on AppStore, which is Monday, Aug 6! Follow us on Fb and Twitter: http://www.facebook.com/OlympicPandaBoy https://twitter.com/OlympicPandaboy
What is going on with the Mac App Store? We are hitting a brick wall with the review process of the Mac App Store. Everything we submit is getting rejected after an extremely long wait. (15 days sometimes) When the apps get rejected it takes the same time again to get reviewed. We have many apps that simply stopped working on Mountain Lion and we are having a hard time getting the patches approved. Between Sandboxing and Snow Leopard it is really tough making it work on the Mac App Store.
"The word on the street" is the keyword feature of Apple's recent changes, higher volume and re-submitted by the developer. No man can understand the lure that Women Brown Leather Flap Handbags have to a lady. They are just simply adorable that a woman simply can't resist the temptation not to have best cwmalls.com Python Embossed Leather Shoulder Bags which looks so charming.
I've noticed this as well. An update to Stacword Original that I submitted after my latest new game actually got reviewed and approved faster. Originally it use to take 6-7 days now with Snooker Star it was closer to 9.
Mac App Store has become impossible to work in The review process on the Mac App Store has become pretty well useless. Close 30 days is the norm now and if your app has issues it usually takes another 30 to sort them out. Updates that are needed to fix issues caused by Mountain Lion are also around 30 days+ Not sure what happened but we are seriously thinking of stop developing for the Mac Store too stressful and Apple just does' t seem to care at all anymore. The latest gimmick is reviewers looking at old versions and sending the exact same comments again.
Please tell Apple to stop swamping us with updates! I am doing about 20 updates a day, and my 64 gb new ipad is hanging like crazy! ios 6 must have been Windows 8 beta in disguise, cause my ipad has been stuttering like crazy with all of these updates!
