I'd love an answer to this as well; are we getting the DS version?

I don't believe it is the DS version and it certainly looks better than the DS version (IMHO).

After looking at some videos of both, this looks like the wii version to me, not the DS version. Come on 11 o' clock!

The first episode is just like the ps2/Xbox version, not a cut down version. it has SOME slow down on iPad mini 1g but nothing that gets in way of play,it's good, but I finished them before and not sure I want to again, plus pay for each episode, but if you don't already own them....

Would really like to get this but the low res textures are pretty much holding me back

After reading 7 pages of thoughts about this game, I am incredibly surprised. Not by the game, just peoples lack of knowledge about it. I kinda thought that everyone was pretty well informed on how the Lego games work, but apparently not. I mean I actually saw a few posts where people didn't realize that this was a compilation that had actually been released in 2007. Plus there's people questioning whether or not there are minikits and if they unlock anything. Minikits are kinda a Lego staple.

Anyways, not trying to bash people or anything. I was just astounded and felt the need to voice it to other nerds that might actually understand what I'm talking about.

Someone.....please......does this have controller support? I know they didn't advertise it for Lego Lord of the Rings, so, if anyone could test this?

    To purchase the complete saga
Just go to purchase any one of the episodes, there will be an option of what you want to purchase. After you purchase it go to the options and hit restore purchases and it will unlock everything.

It surprises me a tiny bit as well. The first LEGO game by TT Games was LEGO Star Wars the Video Game back in 2005, and the formula has since been used in every LEGO game to date. I thought by now most people would know what to expect, but it seems not.

Hey I hate to bring this up... but I'm pretty sure I just found VIII on the Japanese app store. Now I could be wrong, I don't speak Japanese, but it is related to VIII, it's 1.31 gigs big, and looks like the game.

Oh and by the way just out of curiousity, can you actually read japanese or are you just playing it by memory?

Not sure if I'm missing something, but the controls seem awfull to me. I can't even play it. On top that it looks very low res on iphone 5s. Really disappointed so far.

Thanks! It was a real convoluted and unintuitive process, but I finally managed to do it.
