You can, but there's no option to turn off the onscreen joystick and both control methods are active simultaneously. It's really irritating. Honestly, this first release feels extremely rough, and for all that's holy, how do you escape from the prison? I've been running around that map looking for a trigger to get past the "rescue the prisoners" mini-mission and have just given up. If I go into the side cave, there's an exit icon at the top but it doesn't work.

Why don't you simply get it from another country's AppStore? If truly desperate go to PCSupplyDotcom to get that countries iTunes card. Great site, emails you the code in a minute or so. Simply view your iTunes AppStore ID, change your region to desired country, type in your iTunes AppStore code. Change to the appropriate postal code. Now, download the game. Once downloaded change your region BACK to Australia, re-add your original form of payment and change address. Now you can even buy in app purchases in Australian dollars if you so choose Only time you have to switch again is to download an update.
