Universal Legion War - Hero Age (by Yao Wang)

So... just so that I’m clear. ( it’s been a tough few days).

For the purest version I want the paid version with the unlock; turn off the ads and then go for the pirate extras perhaps?

 

@wangyao500, here’s an iOS bug I reported on the game’s Steam forum.

“The icons for Information (banner with 'i' on it) and Encyclopedia (open book) when units and map features are selected are swapped. The Information icon opens the Encyclopedia, while the Encyclopedia icon opens the Information panel.”

Also, on iOS, do you plan on enabling attached keyboards to pass key presses to the game? If not, I’d recommend removing the hotkeys displayed in the tooltips.

Speaking of tooltips, on touch devices, can you force the tooltips to appear to the side of the touched element instead of below it? It’s hard to read the tooltip when it’s displayed below the touched element. And, if you do change this, maybe consider adding a left/right option for tooltip display to accommodate both left and right hand users?

 

One thing that is happening.
The iOS version is now quite dearer than the Steam version when you add up all the iOS iap’s.
Might be worth considering if you are unsure what version to buy.

 

This looks brilliant! And only about 6.98USD in the end or 0.99USD up front to get you going. That’s pretty darn clever form the jump. Much appreciated. Looking forward to this guys.

Great game but has anyone worked out how to buy mercenaries at mercenary camps?

 

Guys do you recommend me this game since i liked and played Advance Wars? Is this game complicated?

 

Initial impressions are that it’s rather more complex than Advance Wars; certainly with unit progression and upgrades.

The ftp version seems closer to AW.

(I’ve spent only a short time with each)

Running on iPad 4, meets iOS min, but crashes frequently. How is the UI on phone?

 

Small text and icons but you can zoom the battlefield.

Edit: on Max. Not tried regular.

 

Mercenaries can be recruited beside mercenary camps.
1. Capture mercenary camp.
2. Tap the mercenary button at the bottom of screen
3. Recruit one beside the mercenary camp

You can also build a building called "mercenary camp" in castle to recruit mercenaries beside your castle.

 

I'm not sure ipad 4 can play the game. The game will crash on iphone 6 and other device below iphone 6. Sorry for that

I know it’s tough to assure compatibility across devices but the App Store listing only indicates an iOS requirement of 8 or higher.

 

IOS only have the limitation of os version, the game can be run on OS 8. But the problem is ram. Iphone 6 only has 1 GB ram, that makes the game crash.

Now that is a heck of an understatement.

It should be Apples new slogan.

 

The major beef of the critical Steam reviews is that some of the special events can totally kill a game you have already sunk hours into. Has that already been addressed?
