Newbie guide to Endless Defense Hey guys, just wanted to put a few notes down for anyone having trouble getting gems. I just stumbled on this method of getting 1000+ gems from Endless Defense, and though it might help some others out. I'm not seeing much in terms of guides for this game so I thought I'd throw this out. I call it the "superposition method." As a prerequisite for this game mode, you must have finished the game on normal. My random upgrades so far. You don't have to have the same upgrades, probably the only important thing here is to have moderately upgraded Wizards, since they are essentially tank-mages, and upgraded damage on Elfy's is probably a good idea: Knight - Don't use Elfy - Fully upgraded attack tier 1 Dwarf - Don't use Unicorn - Half upgraded tier 2 Golem - Zero upgraded tier 2 (same as tier 1?) Wizard - Fully upgraded attack tier 2 Phoenix - zero upgrades. Miney - Gems 9, Rate 4, tier 1 The method. Early game - Ramp up gem mining as fast as you can, and get out either one Golem or one Wizard to hold off the first 4-5 units. I go with one wizard, but sacrifice some castle HP as a result. Early-Mid game - Get a wizard in each column, along with a golem or unicorn to soak damage, until you've stabilized against the oncoming forces. Use wizard special attack on any big targets to minimize losses. Mid game - Place the column arrow at the top, then add a wizard, and as many unicorns and elfys as it takes for wizard to come up again. When Wizard is up again, move the column arrow down one, and repeat (wizard, elfys, unicorns). Keep repeating over and over adding more and more ranged attackers. After each unit summon, use the army command tools to bunch your units right at your castle entrance. Tap "back, hold, back, hold, back, hold" until all units are stacked precisely on top of each other. Mid-late game - Add random "big" units to soak damage if you like, but concentrate on adding to your elfy, unicorn, and wizard count. You'll have extra economy sitting around anyway. Eventually, your unit ball will get so big that the game will slow to a crawl. Pros: It's super effective up to ~900 kills. I believe you can safely go much higher, but I was afraid the game would crash so I suicided my troops on the other side of the map. Was another ~80 kills before a single bat eventually snuck by and nibbled my castle to the ground. Cons: Can't really use special attacks with units clumped like this. Observations: [as someone else said in this thread noted] Elfys deal a LOT of damage per cost over time. When an unit came in range of the elfys, and the wizards weren't available to shoot, the wall of arrows would crush that unit immediately. Anything that survives a single ranged volley will get killed by a dozen rainbows. Keeping all units clumped at the castle walls seems to trick the AI into not using their special attacks most of the time, allowing you to safely gain hundreds of kills and thousands of gems.
Can't get gems I don't know why I can't get gems and moonstone after each lv, I am playing lv 1-9 but still zero gems, anyone helps me plz
We would love to help you solve this problem. lets continue this conversation. please email us at [email protected] thanks!
Arghhhh Nothing is more frustrating than being in the final boss battle, then right as you send your troops on the move to fight the boss...the game crashes. Then doing it again and having the game crash AGAIN right as you are about to kill the boss.
That's the exact problem I have right now, I only have 4 mineys, but each one has two times upgraded speed boost. My build order is miney miney archer miney then until 3 archers in each lane then I start spamming wizards and archers and golems, the golems soak damage up, while i have auto lane change turned on. Although they dont get first hit, their long range ensures they get it, and everytime a golem dies, its just in time for another golem. I have my wizards in front of my archers to tank just in case. The only problem with this is that I have so many archers and wizards, that although it basically one hits everything, even killing the minibosses in between with one volley, it crashes on me...so no gems : /
Just dropped by to say I've had this for a while, and it's nice, polished and a ton of fun. Congrats on the free campaign! From that crowd, maintaining a 5* average is insanely hard. Once you guys start to slip, I suggest going paid again to try and get the most out of the publicity. good luck with the game. I haven't gotten too far but it really is awesome. Just sayin......
Does anyone have any tips on 5-5. I can never beat the big bone dragon boss at the end because large groups of skeletons keep coming and killing all of my team. I've been stuck on this level for 2 days so can anyone give me tips to beat this level? Please?
crash crash crashy crash. I think it's the wizard particle effect that crashes the game when a certain combination of events occur. There's some sequence that results in the wizard ice blast hanging in the air forever. My guess is that there's some timing of events that results in the fx firing in such a way that it is not caught by the cleanup step that determines whether the target is still alive or not. This leads to infinite loop -> crash. Very consistent crash, although I don't know the steps to reproduce exactly. Framerate slows to a crawl, then eventual crash. I've run into it about 8x now, losing somewhere on the order of 6000+ gems. As a result, I haven't really been able to play the game or upgrade my units in the way I expected.
