There will be a lot more arrows, not sure how many in your general vicinity but they start becoming more abundant around level 3/4.
I just wish it was easier to switch to another weapon when they run out. Hell, I'd take using the bow as a melee weapon when I'm out!
It's tricky but you can get used to it, sliding out the inventory screen does not impede you from moving or using your actions. So you can train yourself to multitask a little and quickly equip a dagger once you run out.
True. Maybe I should get used to keeping the character screens open during battle so I can swap weapons faster.
Oh, the compass needle moves, but it doesn't seem to correspond with the right direction. I really doubt I'll ever actually need to use it thanks to the auto map, but I was just curios I'd it worked properly.
I am so stuck on level 2.... The part with the 2 buttons on the wall. I have spent well over an hour trying to figure it out.
There are items in the locked cells. There is a key in a bag. Pressing the buttons on the wall teleports the items from one cell to another. It will go in a circular pattern. The unlocked cell that is located at the end of the corridor is where you can grab the key and other items. Just click a button and check the end of the hallway. Wash, rinse, repeat, until you have grabbed all the loot.
Ha I didn't even realize this. I just messed around with those buttons and noticed the sack at some point. Didn't realize that's what happened! I'm currently stuck at the spinning teleporters. I make it as far as the floor switch, then get teleported back. Not sure what the floor switch even did. Btw, is there any quicker way to get back to an earlier floor to see if you missed something, other than walking all the way back to the stairs?
Thanks! So, I found a wooden box with a couple things in it. But I can't put anything else in the box. Should I just leave it behind? I've also been leaving behind lots of spears and shields as I don't see any use for extras?
The wooden box grid is misaligned, you can put up to 16 items in it but it will look like only the top row is visible. The rest are overflowing onto the movement UI.
Ah crap. I left it behind because I couldn't get anything to stay in it and it was heavy. Hope I won't miss it?
You will find more boxes and sacks are in general better because they weigh less. Also, the legionaries always drop the shiels and spears so you don't need to worry about leaving any behind. Just keep the ones that you want to use.
One thing that's starting to become problematic for me is the placement of the turn buttons. I often tap them by accident when I want to move left/right. It's especially troublesome on this spinning teleporter puzzle. I keep wasting time turning. Anyone else bothered by the directional pad setup? Maybe a way to move them around would be a good option? I don't know if it would feel better for me, but I think I rather move the turn buttons to the bottom row to minimize this issue.
Yeah, I occasionally find myself hitting the wrong buttons, usually when I'm pressured to be quick. There are a number of puzzles that require very precise and well timed moves, so those can become slightly annoying.
This puzzle is driving me crazy. I'm just not seeing what I need to do. I tried throwing a rock on each of the floor switches, but they get teleported off. I already lost 2/5 rocks (so will have to load a slightly older save). Was loving the game till now, but this puzzle makes me want to throw my very expensive iPad against a wall. These are two attempts that I thought might get me somewhere but my rocks just got teleported away: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
